This is a budget location, so you need to be prepared to make compromises and I was. I needed some place to sleep for 6 hours between flights.
However, there are some factors that fall outside of that. First off the photos of the site don't really give a true idea of what it is like. You get the impression that it's some hi-tech set-up. It isn't. The doors are fairly basic/old with a grey paint job. Same goes for the flooring.
The screens for the pods are like window blinds, so don't keep out any noise and the aircon in my room was a small portable unit on the floor. So you get disturbed at night whenever anyone comes in or goes out.
The main thing that attracted me to this place was the price. It was S$70 vs. S$180 for the yotel in Changi.
Was it worth it? Despite the snags, I'd say on balance yes. But also because I needed to pick up something in Newton before returning to Changi. If not, it would not really have been worthwhile.
