Greetings VACASA and Owner, Here is our detailed review which we trust will enlighten you all as to what is needed on site to bring this property back up to your standards. This review is provided with your best interests in mind. Kitchen: 1. Dishes, Pots, & Pans were not clean and had to be cleaned before we felt comfortable using them. 2. Stove top burner areas were dirty and had to be scrubbed to remove stains. 3. Sink water faucet is loose and coming apart. 4. Dishwasher was dirty inside and is not properly fastened into the mounting space – tips forward when door is opened. 5. Inadequate paper towels for a week Deck Area: 1. Round glass top table is missing a bracket entirely and a second bracket is coming loose – this will eventually crash the table. 2. Black end table is missing nuts and bolts on a brace 3. East bench is loose/wobbly 4. Screen can be seen falling off and is bent on bedroom window Bedrooms 1-3 (King 1 King 2, Queen) 1. Dirty and stained carpets in King 1 2. Saggy bed mattresses in King 1 3. Quilt/duvet stuffing is lopsided in King 1 4. 6 spiders had to be killed in King 2 Bathrooms (K1, K2, Q): 1. Inadequate toilet paper for 5 people for 1 week – had to go purchase more 2. Inadequate towels for 5 people for 1 week – had to wash & dry several times 3. Shower doors in K2 not clean – mold? 4. Q shower drain cover is loose and not fastened appropriately Living Room: 1. Lights burned out and no spare bulbs available 2. Missing directions for LG

The best one

We’ve been to black butte ranch about a dozen times over the years. Without a doubt this was the best house we’ve stayed in. The location is perfect. The layout of the home allows for separate sleeping areas from The living room area. The house has been well maintained- it does not show signs of wear and tear as do many other homes at black butte. Golfhome 86 will be our home of choice on our next trip to Black butte.

Great family vacation in Black Butte

Excellent location in Black Butte Ranch in comfortable home on golf course. Easy walk to lodge and other amenities. Quiet resort. Plenty of room for parking. Pollen on decks and outdoor furniture a problem; recommend owners invest in covers for this furniture.

Great Black Butte Home on Third Green

We enjoyed our stay at the house sitting on the third green of the Big Meadow course. It was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. We brought our elderly parents and appreciated that everything was on one level. Many Black Butte properties have sunken living rooms or many steps. We will definitely return.

Lovely Home on Golf Course

The property was situated in a lovely part of Black Butte Ranch. There were a few disappointments not related to the house itself, rather, some basic items were lacking such as dishwasher soap, paper towels, etc. The refrigerator was turned down to 46 degrees which if I hadn't noticed would have spoiled all of the food we purchased. When we arrived it was dark and without a light on so we couldn't see the lock box numbers. In addition, there were two boxes and the first one we tried didn't work. It would have been helped if a note was placed on the non working one. Also, when we called Vacasa for help with the lock box and the individual who answered the phone was rude and hung up on us. The house itself is beautiful. The master suite was extraordinary and the other two bedrooms were perfect.

Beautiful quiet get away

This is our 2nd vacation stay at this home. This house has the true central Oregon and Black Butte Ranch feel combined with the upgrades for an easy living vacation home. Beautiful view. Very warm gas fireplace. Interesting art work. Everything including bbq operated without issues. We found the beds to be comfortable. Note of caution - the carport ceiling is low so larger cars or trucks may have an issue clearing the entry and exit height. We have a small suv with a ski rack. With no snow on the ground we had about 3-4" clearance. Very happy with our stay in this home.

Outdated rustic cabin

When we arrived cabin was not clean, dirty stained carpet and dishes put away that were not properly washed. Reached out to Property manager with issues. Cabin view and location were nice. Nice comfy couches in the living room, but decor and furnishing were extremely outdated. When we stripped our bed this morning we discovered that our mattress cover was stained and torn. Truly a disappointment and would never rent this cabin again, especially with the price we paid for the weeklong rental. That said black butte property and amenities were fantastic.

Wonderful home at BlackButteRanch

Well located and furnished home. Very clean except for many carpet stains ( probably white carpet in a rental property is not a great idea!). The big negative issue was that the lock box where the keys were to be was broken. One of our party is in a wheel chair and another was just here for 2 nights from Illinois and had just arrived via Redmond airport. No one alerted us of the special way to access the home! It took a call to,the number provided (in Texas) and an hour wait to receive a return call from a local contact to explain how to get in (VRBO was aware of the broken box yet didn’t advise me be text or email in advance). The local rep was very professional and apologetic but the stay got off on the wrong foot. Once inside we had a great time and will recommend the property!

PENDING - Lovely Home, but Kitchen Issues

Pending - this review is pending as I have not been able to reach anyone with property management (calls/emails). We had a great stay at this lovely home. It was perfect for two couples as there are two masters at different wings of the house. The living room is bright and open, with a view toward the center of Black Butte. The location is fantastic within Black Butte Ranch and on the 3rd green of Big Meadow. Unfortunately, our trip took a hit as we planned to grill some nice steaks on Saturday night. We heated up the BBQ and the propane ran out fairly quickly. Not a huge deal and we wouldn't blame the Owner as we could have checked the propane level earlier in the day but it would have been nice to have a back up tank on site. So we moved into the kitchen to cook the steaks in the oven and other items on the stove top. About halfway through the oven went out and stove tops quit heating. Dinner was now, officially, ruined. At this point it was close to 9:30 PM and we had to call the lodge for a rush takeout order. Fortunately, they agreed to help us out and the food was fantastic, but we were disappointed we had to spend a few hundred dollars on dinner for four that night when taking into account the wasted food. We have tried to let property management know in hopes that another group doesn't book the house and run into the same kitchen issues. Happy to update this once we get a response. Thanks.

Perfect couples golf retreat

Nice home with golf course views. Perfect for a couples trip since home has two masters. We enjoyed the fireplace with the cool evenings and mornings. As other reviews have mentioned, the fridge has an awful smell to it - should probably be replaced since it appears to be very clean otherwise. Smaller master bedroom shower is incredible loud but other than that the home was perfect for us, clean and great location.

Comfortable home for girls' weekend

The house was comfortable and had all the amenities one needs. The large windows looking over the golf course was beautiful! The ONLY downside was the refrigerator reeked like old fish. Every time we opened it a putrid smell was released.
