Great hotel if you are traveling - easy 4-5 min walk to the airport .. hotel was clean with a restaurant on-site Other then the airport there isn’t much to see or do close to the hotel (would need a car to explore other areas) .. restaurant was basic, lacked warmth or ambiance

Airport Hotel
Booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and was not disappointed. It literally is 5 minutes Walk to the Terminal building and is across the road from Blue Car rental. Had a very comfortable overnight stay and even managed to have breakfast in the morning as the restaurant opened at 4am.Would definitely book again.

For the price i expected more. The room was difficult to temp control, the bathroom never dried out from showers, the beds were so uncomfortable i could feel every movement, and the noise from the hall was loud.

We had the family room for 4 and it was great! The airport is right across (2 minutes walk) and the breakfast exceeded our expectations (hot breakfast with eggs, sausages and beans). Just what we needed for an overnighter before our early morning flight.

Basic good hotel with great access to the airport (and rental cars) - literally a 5 minute walk to the terminal. The breakfast in the morning is pretty good, but not as varied as some hotels. The convenience was so great, we stayed three times (after arriving in Iceland, before leaving for Greenland and after arriving back from Greenland). Will absolutely stay here again when we have the need to stay near KEF.

My only complaint is that some sort of alarm (smoke?) emitted a very bright light every few seconds. When one is trying to sleep, a dark bedroom is best. I also have a pet peeve with the LED lights on TVs.
