The Overton continues to be a go to for me and my family. Great location with nice rooms and friendly staff. Live music in the lobby bar is always great.

Overall the hotel was great. Three things that I point out for the 4 star rating. The toilet kept running and I had to open the top and wiggle the chain, there was a buzzing noise in the hallway, and the bathtub had very little water pressure. Minor things to mention, but overall great hotel.

Came to property to tour Texas Tech. Location was awesome! Restaurant and hotel bar was quiet and convenient. History of the hotel with Dr Overton was interesting! Will definitely be back again and again if our daughter ends up being a Red Raider.

Hotel was really great! All the staff especially the valet was super nice and helpful! The bath tub had a lot of rust stains and I wish there was more than one trash can in the entire room/bathroom but other than that it was great and I’ll definitely be back!

We normally love our stay at the Overton. However, this trip, our room was not very clean. The bathtub had mold and a stain on the tub. I did politely inform the staff that it was not as nice as last time. She apologized and told me she’d let management know. The sheets and bedding felt a little dingy as well. This is a no pet hotel but I did see a woman sneaking her small dog in and out through the back door. This hotel is too much money to look like this. Kind of frustrating. :(

My husband and I stayed there to attend a wedding in Lubbock and enjoyed the Overton very much. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was so hospitable. The breakfast in the restaurant was a perfect way to start the day and parking was super easy & convenient. If I go back to Lubbock, I will definitely stay here again.
