Italian Hotel
The hotel location is perfect for someone who likes to be near the shore specially if you get the sea view room with balcony as I got. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms and furnitures are old style as seen in the pictures but they’re clean. The breakfast buffet is perfect.You can walk to shopping area, restaurants and to the seashore to get your tour boats. Overall got a very good vibe.

Loved this hotel!
Our stay at this hotel was amazing! The staff was hard-working and was always there to answer our questions. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. Spent a few days at the pool and enjoyed the bar and food there! I would definitely return on my next Sorrento trip…👍

Hotel Villa Maria is a beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff. The location is perfect for a visit to Sorrento and surrounding towns. We enjoyed meals and drinks by the pool and watched the sunsets on the rooftop patio. On-site parking was not available however but the hotel offers a valet parking option which is quite reasonable.

The location and pool were nice. The room was clean but the bathroom was small and the shower was clogged. When you turned it on, dirt came up from the drain. Absolutely disgusting. We were told that housekeeping wouldn't be in until 9am the next day, so we couldn't take a shower after traveling all day. Overall an ok stay

The bathroom is a decent size but the shower is very small. I am a slim person and it was a tight fit with the door closed. Think small pie slice shaped basement shower. Location of hotel and rooftop terrace was amazing

The pool and continental breakfast is what sold me on this property. The kids loved it! The heated pool was nicely sized and there were always lounge chairs available. The beds were comfortable so we got a good night sleep. The windows were great at blocking out most of the noise from commuter cars and bikes. We did have a few of the sea. The room came with a small safe for vaulables and refrigerator. The refrigerator was mainly filled with hotel beverages for a cost and restocked daily. The staff was efficient at the main front desk, in the restaurant, and at the pool bar. The property could use some modern improvements in the condition of the room/ presentation. The bed covers look like they are from the 90’s and had a fool scent. The additional bedding comforter provided in the linen closet had multiple stains. The light switch plates were falling off the wall, and the shower head holder in the bathroom was broken. Hotel Villa Maria overall is a nice place to stay and within a few steps of downtown Sorrento. I would recommend this property.

Great hotel
The hotel was in a great location. 12 minute walk from the train station. Very close to the centre of the town. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Supermarket around the corner. Staff were very competent and efficient.
