Pretty good overall.
Beautiful building. Peaceful, quiet, lovely surroundings. Romantic.
Pool needs more heating. Room too warm, needs air conditioning. Lots of insects if you leave windows open - screens would help. Breakfast expensive.
This place ticks all the boxes for what you would expect from a chateau stay in the Dordogne. The place is beautifully appointed and we had a gorgeous four poster room with large dressing area and great bathroom. I have even taken pictures of the bathroom to copy if we ever get round to refurbishing ours! The dining and breakfast food was faultless and their breakfast pain au chocolate the best of the holiday with it practically melting in your mouth. I am not a sun worshipper but there is a good sized swimming pool and plenty of loungers if that is what you like. We really enjoyed our three nights and would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful typically French chateau in a quiet location. The staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant is peaceful and elegant, and the food delicious. It is a little remote, between the wine region and the Dordogne, with either being approximately a one hour drive. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you would like a relaxing, elegant holiday.
Litt upraktisk bad ellers helt topp. Restaurantpriser i overkant i forhold til kvalitet. 30€ for forrett er svært stivt. Man har ikke andre muligheter til å spise siden hotellet er in the middle of nowhere...
