The day before we got there, I called to see if we could check in earlier. They told me yes, but I had to pay a fee once we were there. The hotel did not look like it did on the website. Once we were there they give you a parking pass and if you lose it, they also charge you another fee of $40 to replace a paper parking pass, which is ridiculous. The hotel is on the beach, but not worth paying what they charge you were there for the Fourth of July about $740. We got there at July 3 and left on July 5. parking is horrible. We realize that the hotel also allows people to park that are not guest. Next time we go to South Padre. I will not be staying in the hotel.

The price was too high bugs were crawling, no smoke detector, everything in the room was damp due to the air conditioning.some of lights did not work.Parking need to be change and better for guests of the hotel.We wanted the view of the ocean then we get there and it was change to the ocean side. One hamburger $23.00 that over price!

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. A little over priced, definitely not a 5 star hotel. But, excellent location. Short walk to the beach. Room were comfortable, low water pressure and minimal hot water during peak bathing hours. But manageable. No shelving in the restroom. Had to keep toiletries on the kitchen stove. That was inconvenient. Cant forget the beach bar, nice comfortable and convenient. My only complaint about it is, my tab was charged a 23% large party gratuity and there was only myself and my hubby. Parking is very limited. You get a parking pass but it doesn't secure you a spot. Luckily pretty much everything is in walking distance and we didn't have to drive all weekend. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Great location with the pool and tiki bar right on the beach. Friendly staff. The only issue was that they promoted a "stay with us, dine for free" deal. When I asked about it, the girl didn't know what I was talking about (even though it was posted on the sign next to the bar).

Have stayed here several times. LOVE IT..--MOST FRUSTRATING thing is finding parking for hotel guest with everyone being allowed to park is spaces---Would be nice to have one designated parking space for each room. Maybe BLUE COCO Beach road cones # room number

Great location! Right on the beach and they have a bar! However, the actual facility was dirty. Towels and linens had stains and had an odor. The outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach wasn’t working, so we tracked all the sand into the room floor and shower. There was no housekeeping, so room stayed sandy for 3 days. There were also a few baby roaches in the room and big ones outside in walkway and stairs.

Very dirty and overly priced hotel for what it came for. DO NOT GO BASED OFF OF EXPEDIA PICTURES. There was bed bugs, roaches and other bugs all over the room.

Location is awesome ! Having the beach access right down stairs, beach front bar with DJ , volleyball courts and very convenient rental beach chairs/umbrellas is what got me excited about this weekend getaway! Unfortunately the office staff is hard to get a hold of since it says office is open but is locked, had to ask the bar staff for checking in and checking out. No phone in the room to contact front desk , room had sand on the floor when we arrived , the bathrooms door knob was loose, toilet paper holder was loose from the wall etc . The hotel is good just need some renovations !
