I recently stayed at your location in St Augustine Beach and have mixed feedback about my visit. The facility was great, but my issues are about to aspects of my stay. First, you force everyone into valet service, which costs $40 plus tax per day ($80 plus tax total) with no option for self-park. As a result, I needed to bring several personal items into my hotel room because I could not leave them in my car if unknown people are going to have access to my vehicle. When I suggested to the front desk about providing a "self-park option" the employee VERY rudely stated that I was calling his valets not trustworthy. I NEVER made that implication or statement, but I should have every right to my personal belongings being secure. They are not secure if someone other than myself has access to them in my car. I pointed out that his comment was baseless and rude, and he snickered that he doesn’t really care. Additionally, we paid over $600 for our room for 2 nights. After waiting several hours to be able to check-in, we received a room that was right near the common property of the hotel outside the main lobby. The first night was stayed I tried to open my sliding door, and there were literally people sitting on what should be the "patio" for my room, within 3 feet of my door. There is no barrier stopping people from sitting in that space, which should be part my room!

The property is beautiful and clean, however the service at the front desk and housekeeping was awful. We booked through Orbitz and were given a price that included taxes and fees except for the resort fee. We were angry that there was no mention of a mandatory valet parking fee of $39 and a non refundable fee of $75 for a dog. When I mentioned this to the front desk. I was rudely told I should have gone to their website instead of booking through a third party. We were told the room was not ready and we would be sent a text or email letting us know when it was. Two hours later, we still had not received anything and my husband went to the front desk to inquire when the room would be ready. Be then, it was after 4:00 and had heard nothing. When we finally made it to the room, there was no shampoo, shower gel or hand soap in the containers. We requested extra towels and those items 3 times and never received them. The overall attitude of the staff at the front desk was insulting and rude. The extra charges upon arrival was deceptive.

As a hospitality professional I truly felt that the property did a great job in many areas. Clean and welcoming atmosphere, attentive Team at the Front Desk, Recreation and F&B. One area that I would recommend additional support in is the Managers Reception. 3 nights in a row we attended the reception at 5pm and the Bartending Team did a great job of explaining what all was included, but no Manger was present. Not even someone who looked like a Manager. A Managers presence would be a welcome addition even if so much as to be a buffer between the Bartenders and the guest. The MOD can work the line and explain the reception and what all is included so guests can order promptly at the bar once it becomes their turn. An MOD presence would also show support and appreciation to the working Team behind the bar for the 90 minute reception.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! It was a beautiful property with direct beach access and gorgeous views. We will definitely be staying here again. It was also pet friendly and our dogs enjoyed the trip as well.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here at this lovely resort. The property is well maintained and very clean. The staff is attentive and friendly. Our suite was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. It was wonderful to relax by the pool but also be steps from the beach and ocean. The resort location is perfect for quiet relaxing but is also minutes from historic St Augustine. We loved exploring this historic city while also having a beautiful place to unwind and rest. The breakfast was better than we have had at other hotels, and we loved the poolside cantina for drinks and snacks while we relaxed by the beach. We will definitely stay here again when we visit St Augustine.

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. The beach was extremely quiet and not busy at all. The breakfast was very good and the staff there were so kind and helpful. Starbucks right in the hotel? How can you beat that? They were are so sweet too! Valet guys will literally run and get your car for you and were so friendly. My only comment is for housekeeping. They came in and gave us new towels when we were out but did not change our bedding. Also, our blow dryer was extremely sticky. Other than those two small things, our stay was amazing!
