The room was nice, roomy, with pleasant decor. However the bed was very hard, and there were several [albeit small] spiders in the room. I called reception and they sent someone to get rid of big dead one in the bath. She said that it was because the hotel was in the country. We also mentioned it to the manager, and he said the same, and "We do get them". Breakfasts were amazing, and the best bit of the stay.

A great place to stay
We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The hotel had all the facilities you could want and being a little off the beaten track, made for a peaceful time. Restaurants and bars were only a 15 minute away in St Aubin for when a change of scenery was required and a courtesy minibus would take you further afield if required. Highly recommended and would defintely stay there again.

Outstanding hotel with super friendly staff and great hospitality. Our room was spotlessly clean with a lovely view of the pool. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Location is only 20 minutes walk from The pretty St Aubins with bars and restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return.

Our third stay - so we clearly enjoy staying here. Rooms are elegant, quiet, clean and are well serviced daily. The restaurant offers fine food. A bar provides a range of options, including food, at sensible prices. Car parking available onsite. Only small negative was a poor WiFi signal in our room - excellent elsewhere.

For a 5 star rating, the quality was missing overall from food to service. The staff all round seemed stressed always and that was transparent in their duties, which meant the customer suffered. I wont be going back.

Have happily stayed at La Place Hotel (our 'go to' hotel in Jersey) several times over the years and it was great to see General Manager, Tim Brooke, still at the helm running a superb team of staff at such a delightful venue. Everything up to it's usual VERY high standards and was a welcome first break for us 'Post-COVID'! Accommodation - top notch and food was again gorgeous. Silvio and all his colleagues were always friendly, cheerful and as attentive as you could possibly wish for. 'And', on reception, was especially friendly & helpful and a credit to the business. Thank you all, and in the words of 'Arnie'....WE WILL BE BACK!!

Brilliant Hotel La Place Jersey
My wife and I could not fault the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They took time to look after us and gave an excellent service. Of note the room and food was of high quality. We look forward to returning.
