Do not stay here
Our stay lasted about 10 minutes. Overwhelmed by the ge pervasive smell of smoke and mold throughout. Another room would not have helped. Left and spent the night on a relatives couch.

I booked this property because of the location. It was close to the event that I was attending and it looked like the neighborhood was fine. I am a 75 year old woman traveling alone. I chose the wrong motel. The place was not safe. None of the outdoor entrances were locked. You did not need a key card and one of the doors had a plastic bag covering the slot. There was what appeared to be a food truck in the back of my room parking lot and there were people at it when I checked in and returned after my event. My room was disgusting. The sofa had stains and the cushions had the stuffing coming out and they smelled. The carpet was filthy. The phone would not let me contact the front desk. The bathroom lights did not work in the morning. The continental breakfast was depressing. I felt sorry for the man who was trying to get 3 kids fed and half of the choices were not available. Bottom line is do it stay at this property.

It was old, almost everything in room was damaged or repaired, my nonsmoking room smelled so much like smoke I couldn’t breath in deep, the security door in the back of the building didn’t fully close or lock, & the ice machine didn’t work. I chose to not stay my entire stay. The desk lady was very pleasant and that was the best thing.

Place is exceedingly shoddy and run down, and this is coming from someone who has stayed in 100-200 hotels of similar level. This is actually my second time staying here--shame on me as I said we would not be returning but forgot where we stayed. When you're at the pool you can see how much the balconies are falling apart underneath, which is terrifying considering our room has a balcony. There is a pervasive odor of mildew and smoke that permeates the entire building. Maybe that's why there is no smoke detector in our room? Wallpaper in bathroom is peeling in multiple places and there's visible mold on the walls. Breakfast is mediocre and lackluster. Plus side: neither room we stayed in had bedbugs.

Very professional, friendly, helpful staff. Front desk kept in touch with me via email regarding anything we might need or want during our stay. Room was nice, clean, with anything we might need, bed comfortable. Beautifully landscaped garden/gazebo outside the breakfast area. Great economical stay in St. Charles, MO area. Thank you all!

There was confusion caused by a text that apparently was sent by Travelocity. It was worded such that I thought the hotel sent it. It said I could respond to that text, which I did, telling (I thought) the hotel that I would be in very late, but was still coming. When I arrived, the hotel informed me that they had canceled my reservation due to "no show" (but they did charge my cc). I told them I texted, and she informed me that they don't text. I showed her the conversation, back and forth. I then said that I still had tonight reserved, right? She said no, it was canceled because I didn't show. Check-in isn't until 3pm. I had been up all night driving, and really needed my room. She made me go back online to book another room. Mine had already been rented, and all that was left was a suite, but that I could have it at the 1-bedroom rate. So even though it was a huge, time-consuming hassle, I finally did a room. The continental breakfast was very good!

Dirty, gross, holes in walls, no decor, smoke detectors missing, filthy, Pealing paint, Rusty & rotting extierior, Smell of pot throughout the building, sticky carpet, Dirty pillow cases, dirty smears on doors & walls, If we had seen the room before we booked & paid we would not have stayed. Too late to find another room.You should not recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

This hotel is decent for the non deposit for incidentals. But I won’t ever stay here again. Everything is super outdated, dusty, dirty. There was hair in the blow dryer, black streaks on the bathroom wall, the drawers on the dresser were broken, curtains on the sliding glass door were broken, sliding glass door was hard to open. The only good thing I can say about this location is the staff are very nice and professional.

VERY DIRTY. Ended up leaving and having to pay for another hotel as we saw cockroaches in our room. The bedspread was dirty and stained. Upon walking down hallways all you could smell was marijuana very strong. outside of the building rooms with missing screens. Overall bad experience.
