Fine hotel but cleanliness was definitely lacking. If we would have been staying more than one night and already had a late check in we would have immediately asked to switch rooms. The shower reeked of pee and had hair in it (it had clearly not been cleaned), there was pee on wall next to the toilet, the carpet was filthy with stains.

Clean, Spacious, and Comfy!
This was a last-minute romantic getaway for a great price and exceptional cleanliness. The room was also very spacious, I’ve never stayed in a King room before and it was perfect. The bed was fluffy and cozy. Holiday Inn Express is our go-to hotel when out of town and this location kept up to the standard and did not disappoint.

Some of the furnishings need to either be repaired or replaced and many need to be cleaned (i.e. chair beside the bed) but bed was comfortable. Someone on the floor above me walked like a caveman stomping around so it could have been quieter as well but no screaming or yelling.

Where do I begin? The high reviews here are shocking to me. Maybe people don’t travel outside of this area? I’m confused though. The rugs in the rooms alone haven’t been cleaned as in with soap and a machine, in quite some time. I asked for a room change immediately due to this fact, but the 2nd room was no better. SPOTS ALL OVER and visible dirt, The Televisions are extremely dated, as in OLD and as if that’s not bad enough, the TV’s default to FOX NEWS once turned off. Every single day I had to immediately surf to find something acceptable as there is no guide on the television, but there is most definitely Patriot TV. I learned the owner is a huge Fox News supporter and has decided to FORCE those of us paying to stay at the hotel to watch the shyt show he and this part of the country is in too I suppose. Clearly, it’s not a free country in this hotel. The bed looked unmade upon arrival to a point I asked for fresh sheets so I could make the bed myself. Ridiculous. I have pictures I’m unable to upload here. I wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL. The gentleman at the desk overnight was great though. Helpful and kind. I would never stay here again though.

The bathroom was dirty hair everywhere and not cleaned at all also the bathroom door was loose almost fell out when I was showering for me was safe or clean . Isn't work the price I payed for it.

Tried ti take a shower the water was cold i called tge reception she said there is only one maintenance guy available but he wont do much she offered to change the room but i said it is ok in the morning while getting ready to leave i found a bed bug on my cover , when i checked out the front disk didn’t even look at my face or greet me she there was no online she looked like she don’t care about anything or willing to list or so anything

It did not seem like our room was properly cleaned and restocked before we arrived. We did not have enough towels, I think there was only 2 of each size. The toilet paper was not refilled and we ran out of one roll and almost the second roll. It didn't look like the surfaces in the bathroom were wiped down. Other than worrying about running out of toilet paper and not having enough towels, our stay was great.

Arrived at the hotel and was informed they did not have a reservation for me even though it was booked and paid for through Expedia. The employee working for them smelled of alcohol and attempted to place my daughter and I in a room. However when we walked in the room it had not been cleaned, the beds were unmade, there was trash sitting on the furniture and wet towels in the bathroom floor. We went back to the front desk and the hotel then sent us to another hotel and comped our stay.
