Would definitely stay here again. We had a Villa with a balcony that overlooked the ocean. The room had a nice couch, comfortable bed, table and chairs for dining, a kitchen area with Fridge, microwave, sink, coffee pot (with coffee), and hot plate. It was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The pool area was beautiful. Lots of room to lay out in the sun or shade. Bar and restaurant were great. People were friendly and the food was good. Drinks were delicious! On site laundry, minutes to shopping and restaurants.

On site museum, shops, and restaurants by the pool and hot tub made for awesome unplanned relaxation days at the hotel. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were all so nice and sociable.

First of all before I say anything else I want to say anyone visiting St Thomas should absolutely rent a car it's a must. A Jeep is even better because a few Beach roads were very off-road, most of them though a car is just fine. The hotel itself was very nice the food was surprisingly good in the restaurant. The swimming pool/ hot tub is open until midnight which was pretty awesome. The views from the hotel are spectacular. But the island in general is like this it is super hilly here very little flat land. The wifi worked perfectly except for for the week except one Saturday night when the hotel was completely packed and I couldn't log in for 8 hours but regular cell phone service worked slow but ok (Verizon). The showers were great with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. Full sized fridge. Oceana was the best restaurant on the island by the way. It's worth the money to buy a snorkel and mask when you first get to the island. Magens bay beach had many turtles and a few manta rays. It was the best snorkel Beach. Rock city tacos is the other recommendation.

Besides the phenomenal view from our balcony, we enjoyed the spacious 1-bedroom suite equipped with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The room and view exceeded our expectations. The staff were also very helpful. The walk downtown was only 10-min although the hill was very steep and requires one to be physically fit. We actually enjoyed the workout. We wanted to be near downtown but the trade off was that we needed to travel to the beach.

For the amount of money for each room per night, the roosters would wake us up very early. This is not something you want while on vacation. We could have used a broom in our room to clear the sand off the floor. We understood we would not have maid service. The prices for food were very high. The only redeeming quality of the property were the amazing views.

Good for the price.
Having a lot of hotel amenities was not important to us as we spend our time on excursions, etc, needing the hotel only for sleeping. Bluebeard is good for that. The walk to local restaurants and shopping is quite a journey, so you will either have to rent a car ( they drive on the left ) or taxi everywhere. Be careful of a few of the cab drivers up charging you. A mixed bag of good and not so good attitudes with the staff, which is what you will find throughout the island. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

Beautiful view of the harbor and water front. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need! They offer shuttles to shop and the brunch was scrumptious!

My mother and I stayed here from Dec. 16-19, 2024. I noticed several things during my stay: the staff seemed extremely overworked and as a result, the customer service wasn’t great. Our room was FILTHY!! We weren’t able to check in until a little after 4:00, we were told the room was being cleaned…. It was not! The floor had not been swept or mopped, there was hair all over the bathroom, and the shower appeared to have not been cleaned. I ended up going to the local Kmart to purchase cleaning products, me and my mom cleaned the room ourselves. I spoke with several other people staying at bluebeards who also reported dirty rooms, even roaches in one of their rooms. There needs to be some standardization of cleaning expectations, the lack of cleanliness is not only discussing but may also be posing a health risk including athletes foot since it appeared the shower floor hadn’t been cleaned.
