I called Hotels.com when I wasn’t sent the code to get in the apartment. I was told there was a reception to check in at the hotel next door and there wasn’t. I eventually got the code, but in the meantime a couple of cyclists arrived at the hotel to try to get a room and couldn’t because it was closed. They need to communicate better.

Never got a confirmation of room number, eventually found a maintenance man on site (luckily) to help find our room. Floors were extremely creaky in the last room on the left. Place was clean very clean, check in process could have gone smoother.

Negativ: -CheckIn Code für Schlüssel haben wir nicht vorab per Mail erhalten (ich hatte auch eine Nachricht über Expedia an sie geschickt - ohne Antwort), wir haben dann angerufen - etwas unfreundlich die Dame, aber Ziel erreicht. Generell habe ich die Erfahrung gemacht, das Buchungen über Expedia etwas "extra" sind und daher "Problemchen" auftreten -der Boden vor dem Bett hat geknarzt Ansonsten gut, schöne Aussicht aus dem Fenster!

Communication can improve, since no code was given 24h before as stated and it was needed to call (luckily we did it before the arrival) Room and bathroom were ok in terms of cleanliness, but floors were extremely squaky and you can hear what is going on in the room next to yours since walls are very thin.

Posto tutto sommato carino. Non è possibile comunicare con la struttura. Quando siamo arrivati non avevamo alcuna informazione per il check in, abbiamo chiamato il numero dei contatti una 15ina di volte e non ha risposto nessuno. Siamo andati nell’hotel a fianco (stessa gestione) e con un po’ di insistenza abbiamo fatto chiamate da alcuni inservienti lo stesso numero. A loro hanno risposto immediatamente e ci hanno fatto avere le info per poter accedere all’appartamento da noi prenotato. Pavimento parecchio scricchiolante.

Chambre spacieuse
L’établissement se trouve au milieu des champs, près du North Star Hotel. Il y a une station-service à proximité. Pas grand chose à visiter autour. Je ne recommande cet hébergement que pour une étape tardive. L’Islande est plus belle ailleurs. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée mais les prises n’ont pas été prévues pour utiliser certains appareils. Le joint de la douche a besoin d’être remplacé pour ne pas inonder la salle de bain. J’ai obtenu le keycode en appelant un numéro affiché dans l’hôtel voisin.
