This is the newest shipping container cabin on my property in Red River Gorge! I've taken a shipping container with character and made a really unique and comfortable place to stay while you visit Red River Gorge. The cabin sits on the side of a hill with a spectacular view across the valley to the cliff line on the other side. While it is secluded, it is easy to get to. The road is paved all the way to the driveway of the cabin, which is flat and easy accessible. The cabin is completely climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat), has Dish Network TV, Hughesnet WIFI, and city water. The outside of the shipping container was left as it was while being in use. All of the dents and dings give it the character that I wanted. The inside is completely modern. It has maple walls, barn metal ceiling, hardwood flooring, designer cabinets and a 50 inch flat screen TV. The full bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet, vanity, and washer/dryer. Enjoy the outside by sitting by the stainless steel fire pit or soaking in the hot tub while watching the cliff line be illuminated by the setting sun. Wake up to the sunrise through the trees and the birds chirping in the woods. Go on a hike in Red River Gorge and come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub. All linens, towels, wash rags, toilet paper, and soap is provided. This cabin is the perfect place for two people to enjoy and be super close to Red River Gorge. It’s only ten minutes to Natural Bridge State Park, La Cabana Mexican Restaurant, Miguel’s Pizza, and the NADA Tunnel! Toad’s BARn and Grill is new and is only thee miles from the cabin.

There is a lockbox at the front door with the key in it. You will receive a code a couple days before your stay.

Oh my goodness.....I never would have thought that a shipping container could feel SO incredibly spacious, luxurious, warm and cozy! This beautiful property by far surpassed any of our expectations. It felt so comfortable and was spotlessly clean. Everything was well thought of and properly stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend. Seriously, if you've never stayed in any kind of "container den/cabin," then definitely book this one....perfect for a couple's getaway! Especially with the private lot/view and perfect sized hot tub for 2! The location was close to everything that we typically drive to while visiting RRG also.We will definitely be back...would love to bring more family and stay at the larger container den/cabin up the hill!

Unique Experience
Coming into the property was easy per our host Amanda's instructions. The hill was steep but okay with FWD. The outside of the property gave the authentic experience of a "shipping container." The lot was mostly private but there were other lodges were near by. The view from the back of container was beautiful. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and sitting by the firepit. The container was immaculate and just enough room for two people. The amenities were great allowing us to bring in just what we needed for a comfortable stay. There were no on site trails to hike but everything was less than a 10 min drive away. We would definitely return!

Perfect size for two people, beautiful view, quiet and peaceful, super clean (like brand new), hot tub was fantastic, easy to find using the great directions from the host, close to everywhere you’d want to explore plus great restaurants nearby. We chose this cabin for our honeymoon stay at red river gorge. It was very clean and just a cute little spot for just us two. We mainly just slept there because we hiked all day but it was great to come back to at the end of the day, sit in the hot tube and enjoy the outdoors!! Would 100% stay again!!

This Container Cabin was amazing. When you first see it, you may be leery but according to the owner, this is the look they were going for and it is cool. So, you step inside the container and it is not what you would expect..it was absolutely amazing and extremely clean. It looked brand new. I chatted with the owner via text and she was very helpful and extremely nice. The setting of the container cabin was beautiful. I loved waking up in the morning and going outside to sit in the chairs and drink my coffee while watching the sun come up. I would highly recommend this place!!! We will go back ourselves.

This was a great little find, boasting both lovely views from the container and complete privacy. The property is very well maintained by the host, with all the amenities you could possibly need in addition with it being a cleanly space. Could not have asked for a better stay!! The Container Den was everything we could have asked for and more!! So much so we even looked up costs to make our own. Very clean, amazing location and view. Amanda was the perfect host! We had everything we could need and she was so quick to respond. We went sight seeing and hiking. Enjoyed our evenings cooking on the grill, sat by fire and relaxed in the hot tub! Only thing i could say to future guests, be careful of the landscape trim as it could be a trip hazzard if not paying attention and not currently having an electric range, it does take some time to heat up. Nothing serious what so ever. Would recommended this to ANYONE!! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! Thank you amanda for sharinf your space and for making our honeymoon amazing!
