We were there for a cheer competition and the pool was limited to 55 people. That's not even two teams when you count in families. Then the workers were rude to most parents there. The TV in the room didn't work well and we couldn't turn our heat up over 65.

Our room was not ready when we arrived (4:00 check in and we arrived a little after 5) and we were told we’d have to wait another 45 minutes to an hour for our room. We heard that this happened to many others as well. The elevators didn’t work at all. Kept skipping the floors. People were using the stairs and service elevators just to get anywhere. The wall in our bathroom was filthy. You couldn’t initially see it but after a shower when the walls were steamy it was clear as day how filthy the walls were. I also killed two spiders in the bathroom. The pool was closed during our visit. So we did the arcade instead and many of the games were down or didn’t work properly. You would scan your card and it would take your credits but wouldn’t do anything. There’s no room service for food. But you can DoorDash directly to your room which was nice. The only reason I’m giving the service 4 stars was because the valet guys were phenomenal! They were so kind and helpful. It was so nice to have such a great valet experience. Those guys were seriously THE BEST! Super attentive, quick and helpful. We’ve stayed at Harvey’s, the Quality Inn and Ballys in the last few months and I don’t think I’d stay at Ballys again. It was convenient for the event we were there for (being held at Tahoe Blue) but it wouldn’t be my top pick for a leisure visit. Not near the amenities the other hotels in the area have (which are all comparable in price).

Smoke smell in the casino was overwhelming and there is no way around it. Unfortunately the event we went to Lake Tahoe for was across the parking lot, and the other realistic options were also big casinos. Time to go back to Marriott properties even if they are farther away. $40 for breakfast is also a bit much, but with being on the California border employee casts are going to drive up prices.

The staff were friendly and seemed competent. The room we stayed in was horrid. The sheets felt rough and didn't appear clean, there was food on the floor in the sleeping area, and there was a lot of hair on the walls in the shower. I sent a request to Ballys for a partial refund but if this comes thru you then i would still like part of our funds back due to the uncleanliness of our room.

Pool was "over capacity" got let in then someone pooped in the pool. Went to get dinner and take it back to the family. No takeout? Bed was uncomfortable and shampoo smelled like dead dog. Shower door wouldnt close. Elevators were slow and sketchy.

I liked how convenient it was to walk to Lake Tahoe and getting around Stateline. What I really didn't like was the fact you couldn't get any bottled water or ice after the coffee shop closed at 5pm. I had to go to the CVS after we decided to get some water late. Other than that it was a very good trip and the staff were really helpful. Definitely would stay there again just need to bring our own water and ice.

Well, we reviewed and looked at the Web and thought it would be awesome. We got there and it was filthy disgusting. There's tape all over the carpets/transitions, walls are terrifying, carpet, floors, and all surfaces were covered in dirt and liquids and other fun things. They had only one coffee stand with one employee. The building and parking garage are absolutely delapitating and should be torn down. If you stand on the perimeter of the property you can see where previous electrical fires were as they were never covered up, the roof is dented and there's holes everywhere and shingles and material hanging. No foliage. The gift shop was closed the entire weekend, there was never a single person in there just boxes of merchandise left all over the floor. The pool and jacuzzi is only open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. which is absurd. Sheets and pillows had actual residue on them.

Rude and Condescending
This hotel has gone from ok to absolutely terrible. Our family stayed here last weekend and at 3 am, a blaring alarm woke up my whole family including 2 children who were terrified for their lives. I contacted the front desk and they basically said to wait it out. After 30 mins and another alarm goes off after it, I decided we’ve had enough and asked to be moved to another floor. Everyone said they were going to request a refund but when reaching out to the hotel, they simply ignored us. If the front desk would have been less condescending, then it wouldn’t have been so bad. And let’s not forget our post-dinner incident at Cafe Du Sol! We had paid our waitress, gave her extra tip for being wonderful, got up to leave and had the hostess chase us down, grab my arm and loudly say to me in front of the entire casino, “EXCUSE ME! I NEED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION, DID YOU PAY?!” Yes. Yes I did. Completely unprofessional and not even an apology was offered before she realized her mistake and turned back to her stand with a huff. I used to stay here a lot. I gambled here a lot. But after this, I’ll be going elsewhere because this place just doesn’t care about you. Terrible service leads to unsatisfied patrons. Simple as that.
