We called the hotel to let the m know we would be checking in near midnight. Communication was excellent and although reception was closed by 11 pm, we had a smooth check-in with the night porter. We were also directed to a nearby restaurant/bar which was open until 2 pm. Coffee in the morning was fabulous. Rooms are very comfortable and ours was spacious. It was a quick one night stay in Thun, and we would stay here again.

Loved the idyllic location of this property with a view of Thun castle, right next to Rathausplatz and across the street from a lovely place for food and drinks. Clean and comfortable room, staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

The staff were so kind and accommodating to my fiancé and I as we traveled from the United States and needed some tips on getting around Thun and where the best activities were. They also had complimentary fresh fruit and espresso available which we very much enjoyed. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Thun stay at hotel Krone!

Haven’t spent eight nights in hotel Krone it felt like home. The staff were absolutely amazing and welcoming. The location was perfect for us as it’s close to transport and easily walkable to city. We have no regrets on basing ourselves in Thun and would go back in a heartbeat. Our only regret was moving on and not using the hotel krone chain for our next stay.

Great choice in Thun
We lived the Hotel Krone. The location is amazing and everything about the hotel is wonderful. Next time I would book the larger rooms rather than the smart room. That seemed more suitable for a young couple that wanted a great accommodation but did not require a large room or a big bathroom. My party of seniors was a bit cramped but that was on me. Breakfast and options for dining were excellent

The staff at this hotel are so helpful and pleasant. It waa also in a great location close to the train station. There was an issue with our AC unit in our room and the staff went above and beyond to get it fixed as soon as possible
