Comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast, as well as fish and chips. Staff are fantastic. Quite, peaceful location in cute village. Coop grocery and bank less than a block away.
All good. Off note: room had a sofa and a proper bathroom with a window. Very dog friendly. Room above bar but no real issues with noise. Friendly helpful staff. Sunday night bar quiet but not dead.

Good food, room sad
Traditional Inn with excellent service, food and very good staff that were very helpful.
The room was clean but needs work. Bed slopes very badly, carpet torn and towels frayed, old and stained. Pillows wafer thin. Needs sheer curtains as building opposite looked right in so had to have curtains drawn all the time.
We stayed for a couple of nights and had a great stay. The food and service were super, but the highlight is the amazing staff- they’re so helpful & friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Very hospitable. Lovely gem of a Inn in a quaint town. Food was fantastic both dinner and breakfast was very high quality and tasty! Staff was very helpful. Room was cozy and clean.
Traditional inn style hotel. Really nice. Fantastic food in a lounge with a big open fire. Nice bar with lots of good Scottish beers. Definitely recommend this inn.
Nice hotel, room clean and comfy. wifi very poor which was a pain for me, breakfast was really nice! staff very helpful. unfortunately restaurant not open Monday Tuesday at this time and there are only two places to get food in the area and one was fully booked. and the over is more like a bar and not great. so best to book ahead or make plans! .It left me a bit stranded.
Lovely looking building and interior. Food and drinks excellent. Large choices on breakfast menu . Would definitely stay again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
I was quite happy about the service. The food was nice. The room in which we stayed was the biggest disappointment, there were hairs in the bathtub, spider webs in the windows, and the overall smell of the room was not inviting, I would not choose it again.
The Forth Inn was just what I was looking for. My room was a bit on the small side but perfectly adequate for 2 nights. The hotel building is bit dated and tired looking but that's not really a concern or a criticism. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Overall the service was fast and efficient, and they coped very well with meeting the restrictions in place in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I would recommend the Forth Inn to anyone.

Fantastic friendly staff
A nice little place to stay. A rustic pub and nice big open dining room with some decent food. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you. A comfy bed, the room was a little worn in but did the job, sadly noisy neighbours in the next room highlighted the rather thin walls. Breakfast was lovely in the mornings. Aberfoyle was lovely, a nice place to visit.

Basic facilities with decent food
It's a bit of an ugly building but the staff are friendly and the food is good. The facitilites are a bit basic but the room was a good size.
Friendly welcome by staff at the bar - shown to our room and basics explained. Had evening meal in the restaurant which was nice, again staff lovely and friendly. Couldn’t fault the breakfast and the fact it is included is great. We stayed in Room 3 which has been redecorated since the photo on here was taken - nice and clean.
