good location, two major flaws.
The hotel's location is good, convenient to transportation and walking distance to gamla stan. However, the shower design is horrible: too small, and water runs all over the bathroom floor. They have a rooftop bar a couple of doors down and it's not really designed for hotel guests but for locals and the repetitive base from the loud music continues until the early hours of the morning making it hard to sleep.

The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had a room on the top floor which was spacious and had great views. The location is great for walking to Gamla Stan and the harbour. Lots of shopping and dining choices nearby. My only complaint would be the lack of air conditioning, however the hotel staff provided us with an electric fan which made all the difference. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous property and room! Very clean and spacious with great in room amenities! Perfect location close to all major attractions and walking distance to the train station. Front desk staff is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is fabulous! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Extremely good service. Best I’ve ever seen. Fantastic location - very close to old town but also a lot of other modern shopping and still nice and quiet. Just a fantastic hotel all around. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel, in a great location. Lovely rooms, nice and quiet. Only downside was the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Disappointing, as this was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel. We stayed a year ago and the restaurant was fantastic, but my wife missed out was our son was ill, so we booked to stay again this year so she could experience the restaurant. But it's closed for refurbishment. Unfortunately no mention of this on Expedia.

Pillows were much too soft and blankets provided were way too heavy for the warm weather. Staff gave me a light bed covering and a fan when asked , however.

I want to give a fair review rather then just focus on the one or two things that we did not like. The location is very good and the staff were generally helpful. The building is clean and the room size and finish are what one would expect for this price range. The building is not air conditioned and the room was very warm which made are stay not very enjoyable. Admittedly, who could have predicted the July sunny and uninterrupted warm weather which we understood to be better then typical for Stockholm. The standard rooms are very very dark which we did not find very helpful so know that when you book.
