In the middle of the old town , great for walking and close to the other main island , not a new flashy hotel building but rather old building, clean, serves basic needs , rooms are fine if you do not have to spend all day in them , small desk and x bit awkward lighting, lack of power outlets in the room , breakfast in the old “basement” Very nice , but can get a bit tight when there are many guest at the same time , overall I liked the place and it provides good value considering you are in the middle of town

Great Location
Great location, on the edge of Gamla Stan but also close to other sites including Skansen. Street can be noisy but part of the experience. Very pleasant stay.

Just like the reviews, excellent location, great breakfast, hot because too loud outside to keep windows open, musty smell in the room. All staff friendly. An old hotel, took a night to get used to! A few things lacking, no glasses in the room, no shower gel in the shower. Appreciated the coffee and water in the lobby.

If you aren't one who likes old, retrofitted properties then this one is not for you. We loved it's charm and quirkiness as well as being located in Old Town (Gamla Stan). The staff was great and within 100 feet you are in the heart of Old Town with many dining options.

Staff is excellent. It’s an old building - they have no outlets in the bathroom or near a mirror. We had to request extension cords to dry our hair and had to climb under the desk to charge some of several devices as there were only 2 outlets in the room. It is on a main drag and we had to keep the windows open at night so traffic was noisy at times.

This was the smallest, least amenity room I have ever had for a $424 dollar a night room. A double bed with a fan cause with the window open you got the 6am garbage truck noise. No shelves in the bathroom. One bedside table. About 6 inches between the bed and wall. I know European rooms are small but I had a bedroom this size and turned it into a closet. But Rosanna at the front desk was awesome. She was the best part of the stay… sorry, but don’t pay the money….

The staff were very helpful , the breakfast was very nice, area it’s perfect for sightseeing, just outside and inside of our room had step to go in and out, cause a bit difficult , Shower room was very good, need a shelf for private bathroom bags . The lobby was very good with tea and coffee plus nice pastries.
