I had a room at the front of the hotel. It was large (I'm sure there are smaller rooms but this one, first floor, really good), two twin beds, shower room, desk, chairs and side tables. Clean and quiet - you can hear the jazz club on a Thursday evening and people walking past occasionally, but it nothing much and I slept like a log. Good continental breakfast with some cooked stuff also, fruit, pastries, lots of coffee. All good.
It was an excellent base for exploring the city - the walk to the Medieval Museum near the harbour front, say, took me about 25 mins and I'm not a fast walker. Everyone who I met working there was friendly and wanted to make sure everything was okay. In the area there are lots of cafes and a couple of supermarkets, and a metro station just nearby, and interesting shops in the back lanes near the hotel that do painting restoration and sewing, second hand bookshops and things like that - really interesting. I wanted somewhere just like this as a comfortable place to stay and would be totally happy to go again.
