This vacation home with soul welcomes you close to the lake. The house offers you no great comfort, but a cozy and charming atmosphere. The decor is a testimony to a bygone era and there is no doubt that the house has been furnished with a lot of love. So if you're looking for a cozy place near the water, this is the place for you. Here you can retreat, play cards, bake and make music together, put your feet up and chat late into the night on the terrace overlooking the lake. If you're feeling fresh, you can start the day with a swim in the lake, morning fishing or a run in the countryside. There is a jetty that you can use for your fishing activities. The Järnsjöleden hiking trail runs 400 m from the house.
There is a golf course in the immediate vicinity if you want to swing your clubs during your vacation. But if you are looking for experiences, you can explore the Bjurbäcken locks, Kristinehamn with its archipelago, the former spa town of Filipstad and the silver mine in Hornkullen. You can also discover Persberg, once the most important iron ore field in Värmland. In the Högbergsfältet nature reserve, you can enjoy the view from Högberg over the open farmland and Lake Yngen and experience the 17th century Tilas Stoll mining shaft. The shaft is a testimony to the old mining techniques and takes you on a journey into the past.
