Kelly's Kabin - Adorable Private Summerland Key Cottage

Kelly's Kabin is a recently renovated property freshly painted in tropical blues. It's a private home without neighbors. There is ample parking for multiple vehicles and your boat. The property is fully licensed for nightly, weekly, or monthly rentals.
Summerland Key is located at mile marker 24, which allows you to enjoy short drives north to Big Pine Key, Bahia Honda National Park, and Marathon Key. The major attractions of Key West are only 35 minutes to the south. Public transportation is conveniently accessible immediately adjacent to the cottage. No need to drive or find parking! Looe Key, with its phenomenal snorkeling and diving, is accessible through a variety of local charters. Kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles can be rented nearby. Fishing options include back country fishing, ocean fishing or bridge fishing. A lovely bike path is located at the back of the property. This property is close to favorite local restaurants as well as a small gourmet grocery. Food delivery is also available.
The private lighted back patio overlooks a mangrove area, which leads to the Gulf of Mexico. The outdoor area includes a patio table, fire pit, charcoal grill, and fish cleaning station. You can observe native birds and often the endangered Key Deer from the patio.
Inside the cottage, the main bedroom has a new king size bed. The pull-out couch has a comfortable gel foam mattress, and the front area has a comfortable single day bed.
The full kitchen is equipped with new appliances, ample counter space and a breakfast bar.
The bathroom has a bathtub and shower equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap, clean towels, iron and a first aid kit. All linens, as well as beach towels and a beach umbrella are provided.
The living area has a smart TV. The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi and a landline for emergencies.

Little Paradise
Check in was super easy.Over all was a very comfortable place.Air condition was nice and cold..Everything worked properly.Located just South of Boondocks Bar&Grille which os one of our favorite spots.Easy to get back and forth to Key West.Would definately stay here again.

Great Little Stay
Fantastic little spot to stay if you want to be away from the Key West mobs but want to be close enough for a quick trip there. Finely equipped cottage with good parking and close to a few good places to eat. Very clean and enjoyable.

We had a fantastic time. We brought our bikes and kayaks. The house is centrally located to Key West and Bahia Honda, both on our itinerary. The bike path behind the house and throughout the adjacent keys was very nice to ride. Thanks for letting us stay!!

Clean, functional house. Plenty of space for a couple or small family. Kitchen and bathroom were excellent - well maintained, nice finishes, couldn't have asked for more. House is somewhat isolated even while being on the main road, so if you're looking for activity, this might not be the spot. Some road noise, but was never overbearing.

Surpassed Expectations
Bus stop out the front door to deliver you to Key West, and lovely path out the back door for daily walks — perfect! And the cottage itself has lots of light for the front dining area, a week-designed kitchen, comfy TV sitting area, and super large master bedroom with K bed. We loved it! A perfectly located base for car visits to Marathon (don’t miss The Turtle Hospital and Crane Point Hammock), Bahia Honda State Park, local kayak eco-tour in the back country, and walks on Sugarloaf Key’s Jumping Bridge and Lagoon Loop trail. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Kelly’s Kabin. It is centrally located in between Key West & Marathon. If a quiet place away from the resorts is what you want, this is the place. The unit is cozy. Would consider staying in the future.

This is a wonderful house. It included the necessities we needed to eat in some meals, do laundry, and have a quiet place to ourselves. We love Bahia Honda State Park. So, the distance from there was a driving point to our location choice.

The house was nice and clean. It was very convenient to all the sights we wanted to see. There is a small grocery store very close for supplies. It is helpful that there is a left turn lane along that stretch of the highway to make it easier getting in and out as the road can get quite busy. The patio is a nice feature. we saw a shooting star on our first night there. Thanks!

Comfortable. Good price.
The property is clean. The check-in process pretty smooth. It used to take us about 20 minutes to get to Key West so it was very close and the price was cut down by at least half comparing to what Key West properties offered at the time. The only disadvantage was that it was nearly impossible to get out of the house without using anti mosquito spray. You have got a very nice patio with grill but honestly we never used it for that particular reason. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The property has everything that one might need. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and clean and there were little extras such as beach chairs, umbrella, bug spray, etc. The location was great and was only 30 minutes from key west. I would highly recommend staying here.
