Incredibly “eh”…eh
In incredibly “eh” experience for the price point. The hotel is used for almost every social occasion in Tacoma and everything is just weird. The rooms are awkwardly designed, the lighting is weird (random bright red lamps in our room”, the complimentary breakfast might as well be a cardboard box with ketchup, and the staff is very nice but spacey and always seem confused. On top of it all we were charged and extra unauthorized $271.13 for a “no show” fee when we specifically told the hotel we were going to check in late to make a stop and visit family. All around a very weird experience and we WONT be back.

Save your money, room was dirty and smoky (yellow stained nicotine) on pillows, drapes, and walls. Sinks didn't drain and plumbing loose. Electrical shorts in lamps cause them to flicker when light switch was rotated. Staff could have cared less.

Really gorgeous property that is easy in and out from the freeway and close to the water. Stayed for a 40th birthday. Room had a beautiful city and water view on top of being greeted by a cozy and beautifully decorated lobby. Beds were extremely comfortable with excellent shower water pressure. Room did show slight “wear” with tear in light filtering curtain and tub with chip in enamel. Front desk staff when checking in was very friendly and welcoming, with same experience checking out. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel located walking distance to Museum of Glass, Chihuly Bridge and Tacoma Art Museum. Convention Center is only a block away. My room had a view of Mount Rainier. The bar was lively in the evening and had multiple seating options. Room was very clean, though it did show some signs of wear. Would definitely stay here again!
