We chose this resort for its amenities, including the indoor & outdoor pools. When I come back to SB, I'd stay in the same resort but pick a different unit.
The condo was okay in decor. There wasn't anything new or especially modern, but it was cute and homey feeling. One bedroom had 2 full size beds & the other bedroom had 2 twin beds. The whole condo was carpeted except for the bathrooms and kitchen. All of the carpet made me wonder about cleanliness.
Speaking of cleanliness, when we arrived & I was getting my children set up in the twin bedroom, I found 2 dried up contact lenses on the nightstand between the 2 twin beds. ICK! I'd received email from the rental company that they were taking extra strides in cleanliness b/c of Covid, but if they couldn't even wipe a nightstand surface & see someone left 2 contact lenses laying there, they clearly weren't cleaning properly, much less "extra." They also wrote they were going the extra mile w/ little cleaning details, like wiping light switches & door handles. The light switch in the main bedroom was covered in a dark sticky substance, like maybe a soft drink had splashed on the switch and never got cleaned. Thank goodness I'd brought my own Clorox wipes b/c I went around the condo & wiped surfaces, cleaned up the leftover contact lenses, wiped switches & door knobs, & wiped the inside of drawers.
The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and dishware. There was a starter roll of paper towels, 2 packs of dishwasher detergent, hand soap in the kitchen, and hotel-style bar soap for hand-washing in the bathrooms. There were also rolls of TP in each bathroom. However, the kitchen lacked even a smidge of a cooking supply. Sometimes condos will have little things kept in them, like salt & pepper, but this kitchen had NOTHING. Not even a salt & pepper. Perhaps because of Covid, but maybe in the future there could be some basic cooking things supplied.
Other things to note: the 2 full size beds were incredibly uncomfortable and hard. They were covered in a rubber mattress pad and then sheets that were about 25 thread count. So incredibly uncomfortable. The door leading to the screened porch was hard to open & close. It needs some maintenance. It wouldn't slide properly in its track & it was super heavy. Instead of sliding, it rocked back & forth in the track.
Overall it was an okay condo but I had to do extra cleaning that shouldn't have been required.
