This stunning cottage is in the centre of Greater Sydney only 220m from trains that will take you to Sydney's CBD or the Blue Mountains (60 minute trip). Just minutes away are several major motor ways taking you to the city, mountains, and north/south coast regions. However, you may not want to leave your accommodation with private stunning gardens, alfresco eating and living areas, hot-tub with umbrella, wood-fired pizza oven and professionally styled interiors with quality furnishings.
The space
This cottage just oozes character. With the natural light flooding each room, the neutral paint colors, the warmth of polished timber floorboards and professionally styled rooms, you will feel your stresses melt away from the moment you enter.
The living areas exude warmth and charm with a clever mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings, not to mention the cosy wood heater.
The living space at the front of the house is perfect for curling up in front of the fire with a good book. This room has a small console table that could double up as a work desk for those on a working holiday.
The living area at the rear of the house has a 3-seater leather electric recliner, perfect for watching a DVD or accessing your favourite streaming app on the smart TV. A stereo system is in this living area for you to enjoy your own CDs or access your music anywhere via our portable blue tooth speakers. Both living areas have a reverse cycle air conditioner for year-round comfort.
The open plan gourmet kitchen is fully equipped, even with sharp, chef quality knives! A coffee pod machine and water filter are also available.
The dining room with a 6-seater dining set opens onto the kitchen and both living areas.
The bedrooms are furnished with quality mattresses, topped with commercial quality cotton sheets and linen covered doonas. Each queen bed has 4 pillows to ensure your comfort. Bedroom 1 has a split system air conditioner whilst bedroom 2 & 3 have tower fans. Bedroom 3 has a daybed that can be made up as a single or a queen. A cot and a fold away bed are available upon request.
The main bathroom and combined laundry /bathroom have been recently renovated and have heating and exhaust fans. Complimentary Sukin wash products are available for your use. These are available in refillable containers rather than individual portions to save on excess plastic waste. Our white fluffy bath sheets are big enough to wrap yourself up.
The highlight of this property is the gorgeous private gardens, including pick your own herbs and vegetables and outdoor living, comprising of an undercover dining and seating area, courtyard with a firepit, spa and even a wood-fired pizza oven! Please keep in mind you need to allow 3-4 hours to heat up the oven and a similar time to proof your dough.
Each booking will receive 2 milk crates of firewood to use and these can be refilled at an extra charge. You will receive a money request from VRBO for extra wood you have used above the allocated 2 crates, or alternatively you can pick up bags of firewood at a petrol station. There is a level area of grass where you can enjoy a game of Bocce or Badmington. The rear yard is fully fenced.

Guest access;
Guests have access to the whole cottage. The garage and shed are not accessible to guests.

Please note the front and rear gardens including spa are covered by security cameras which are always on.
Guests will receive an additional charge from VRBO for any extra firewood they use above the complimentary 2 crates.
