Great hotel with decent amenities. As a Gold member we received some great perks with the hotel such as free parking and $50 dining voucher. The hotel is very close to Darling harbor, China Town, and the ICC. Also just minutes away from George street.

The Sydney Central hotel is a 3 minute walk to the light rail, 900 metres from the capital theatre and 5 minutes to Darling Harbour. While she is beginning to show her age the rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely. My wife and I liked our room service dinner. We walked up to World square the to Pitt st mall and shopped. Caught the light rail back to Haymarket and walked back to the hotel. Easy walk back to Capital theatre to see a show. Walked to Darling Harbour for dinner and then walked easily back to the hotel. All in all a great stay. We will go back.

Bathroom had a few hairs not cleaned. It seemed otherwise clean but a bad impression. This was a completely upgraded room though so I wonder if it was done to turn over and use if not used recently. Staff were friendly enough when needed. The room service was expensive for the quality but adequate for room service.

I will stay at this property every time I visit Sydney from now on. 5 star service and rooms are very roomy and clean. The breakfast is the best I have ever experienced, so many options and delicious options. Highly recommend this property.

Air conditoning needs work
The room itself was quite large but the bathroom was tiny. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work properly and it was really hot. I tried to ring reception but no one picked up (it was just after midnight) so I had to go down to reception to speak to someone. They reset the air conditioning for me but it didn’t help and I wasn’t able to get a good night sleep due to the hot room temperature. The hotel is in a really good location, only a few minutes walk from Central Station and the room was nice, but the faulty air conditioning really ruined the stay for me
