Disappointing!
A very disappointing stay. We required twin single beds. We emailed the request and also followed up with a phone call and was assured there was no problem, it was confirmed and we would have a twin single bed configuration. We checked in to be confronted with a double bed and a very dilapidated sofa bed with a mattress so thin you could feel something poking in your back. It was sunken in the middle and clearly past its ‘used by’ date. This flung together arrangement was made up with a very thin blanket. It’s winter! We discovered a previous guest’s pubic hairs around the toilet seat, clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Overall the room was not particularly clean. It felt like a hostel. We expected at least a clean room for $400! Very disappointing for an Accor hotel! We did mention the experience upon checkout but with a front desk managed by what appeared to be backpackers and students are not hopeful of any improvement.

We enjoy staying at The Sebel Manly because it is very comfortable and spacious. The whole apartment is nicely furnished, there is a good-sized balcony, and the shower is great.

An excellent, comfortable property in a great location, let down slightly by some minor details, such as a leaky kettle and a lamp which needed replacing. Otherwise, staff are friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable.
