I took my daughter for a staycation. We had the best time! The pool was incredible and we got a room upgrade on the darling Harbour side. The view was spectacular. Had room service which was perfect and breakfast included which was outstanding. Can’t wait to stay again at this funky hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and so are the staff. The only downfall, which proved to be incredibly annoying were the lifts. There’s approx 6 lifts in the hotel (as advertised) but only 2 seem to work. You wait quite a while for the lift to get to you. And, of course, many don’t know lift etiquette (you let the people who’ve waited the longest get into the lift first). I averaged (over the weekend) to wait at least 9-10 minutes for each lift service. The views from high floor are nice however, you get the same view, same room quality and quicker lift wait times at the Sofitel.
