The hotel was wonderful to stay in. It had so many free snacks and drinks and was surrounded by shops and dining options. The rooms are on the smaller end but have everything you need. The staff were very kind and helpful. Heads up for Taiwan travellers, the toilets in hotels and malls generally don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed. Would recommend and stay in again.

The room is really abit tooooo smalll for comfort. More suitable for solo travellers. If travel in pairs, tooo cramped. Do not have a small proper table in room to place things. The toilet qquite cramped too! But facilities and stuffs not bad. Could have more washing machines. But there are mosquitoes around the area. Yea. But is a good location accessible to food.

A+ Staff, Location, and Lounge
The front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and courteous. Two times they helped us out to our taxi and helped us communicate with the taxi driver to make sure we got to our location. Traditional Chinese breakfast steps away from the hotel and shopping and restaurants all over. Great location and close to Taipei Station. There was some mildew or mold on the blinds, and the grout could be cleaner in the bathroom, but the bed was clean and comfortable. The amenities and snacks on the floor are great. We enjoy sitting in the lounge area with vintage decor.

Worth a second try
The staff is really friendly and warm and the amenities are wonderful, especially the snacks on the second floor; however, the room felt really cramped and when I cleaned the phone with disinfectant wipes, I got a lot of dirt. The carpet is a little dirty, and there is no luggage rack, so it’s kind of awkward with two suitcases on the floor and no place to move around. The location is super convenient. We will give it another try next week in a different room and see how it goes

great place to stay, 5min walk away from the ximen mrt and a convenience store 1min away. also a rather good breakfast place a few seconds away. hotel itself was nice looking, quite spacious for the triple single bed. the amenities were self service, take as u need, which was nice. the 2nd level social floor was great as well; provided a space for us to takeaway our food and to have food there. had many options of food & drinks to choice from to consume.the gesture of the jigsaw card was cute.

Everything is perfect. The drainage was clogged one night in the shower and we got immediate attention and resolved the problem. They provide a social room with free snacks and drinks 24/7. The whole property is really clean and very comfortable. One thing I don't quite get used to is toilet paper can't be tossed to flush but dump into trash bin next to it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. One day I found out one drier was not working. I went to talk with a staff whose name is Anna about this. She told me she would ask technician to look into the issue. Then I went out to have some food. After I returned, she told me they replaced with a new drier. What a great service.

The style of Cho Hotel is in keeping with the nostalgic feel of the Ximen area, but is clean and well run with helpful staff. I also appreciated the use of key cards to enter the lobby to the second building and the elevators. My room was exactly what I needed for one person and was relatively quiet. Access to the MRT was great as was the Gay and non-queer nightlife

Nice place, free drinks, snacks and cup noodles at level 2. Respond promptly when we reflect the toilet is stuck(no we nv throw any tissues inside the bowl:). Recommend to ppl who want a nice place to stay near xmd area
