Gabriela the owner was ever so cordial. We arrived after 20 hours of airline problems. Also a great deal of rain plus the shuttle from airport to the hotel did not show. We were exhausted. Our room was clean not over decorated but comfy. We slept well woke to more rain but Gabriella helped us detour the roadside runoff so could have a nice breakfast. Hard to judge property when it has been raining cats and dogs but we were welre welcomed with a smile and felt safe

The property was nicely settled into a jungle like area. Lots of trees and plants. They have a very nice salt water pool that they keep clean neat. The owner operator is always on site ensuring your needs are met. Our room was simple and basic but had everything we needed and everything worked. Location was great, right in the middle of everything and all walkable. The one thing to be aware of is since it is close to everything, its also close to bars/clubs. Close enough that you will hear the boom boom bass from the music. It's not terrible, the ac and fan kind of drownd it out. But something to be aware of if you're noise sensitive. It was over by 2 am or so. All in all a great place to stay and would recommend highly.

I loved my stay at casa Nahua!! The owners were very welcoming and helpful at all times. This is where I would stay every time I come to Tamarindo. The rooms are very spacious and love that I always almost in a forest with a pool. It’s across the street from another great restaurant and near everything in the town.

Cozy and affordable. Central location to cafes, shops, restaurants, the beach. Market, pharmacy, and bank within steps of the hotel. We were greeted and checked in by the security guard since we arrived late. The manager Michelle was knowledgeable and helpful, especially for first time visitors to Costa Rica. When I realized I forgot to leave the room keys with her upon checkout, she gave me clear instructions on how to return them. Our visit was exactly what we needed to acclimate to this beautiful country.

Great location close enough to all the action yet far enough to avoid the noise. Great pool to lounge at or walk down to the beach in 5 minutes to watch the sunset. Lots of food and drink options and added security at night with a guard. Felt safe the entire time in town and around.

EVERYTHING is within walking distance. It’s not the fanciest place, but it was definitely as pictured. For literally just sleeping and bathing it’s great. We only stayed 1 night, so it was good for us. There’s a grocery store close by, restaurants and bars. The beach is maybe like 2-3 blocks walking..not too far. Tons of people out at night, loved the environment. It felt safe for that reason. It wasn’t loud at night either. It’s close but tucked in.

Gabriela, who is the owner is always pending in the guest needs, being in contact with the nature is guaranteed. The location is perfect: close to the beach and far from noise, my favorite place for breakfast is next door at Deli Cafe where Karolina & Kimberly had always the best attitude and service, and the best food, also next door is Fernanda with the best recommendation about tours in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!!!

My fiancé and I stayed for three nights at Casa Nahua, we originally had only planned for one night but loved the place and location so much we decided to extend our stay there. The property manager was very accommodating, a really lovely lady who was happy to help with any recommendations or telling you more about the area. The location has a supermarket next door, is only a few minutes walk to the beach and has so many dining options close by.

The host Gabriella went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and helped us with any needs we had including things outside her scope of operating this unique boutique hotel. The cleaning staff were so kind and always offered to clean our room/terrace whenever we wanted! We stayed in the monkey suite which boasted an oversized private terrace with gorgeous views of the pool which rarely had other guests giving us even more privacy! We thoroughly enjoyed this property and enjoyed seeing wildlife regularly on the property like monkeys, iguanas birds etc. Speaking with other guests who loved this property as much as we did, i found that many of them are repeat guests like we will be!! This property won’t disappoint! Pura Vida ❤️🌴🏄‍♀️🤙

The pool is saltwater and has a nice private location. The pool was definitely our favorite spot of the hotel. We had the "Family Cabin" room as listed on Expedia. The room was basically as described with one queen and two twins on one level and then another queen on a 2-step raised loft level. The room was not terribly dirty but there were a couple of small spiderwebs and spiders in the corners of the room, and we saw the occasional ant scamper across the floor. The sheets were clean and there was a spare set in a nightstand. The heavy blankets seemed as though it had been quite some time since they'd received a clean. The water was hot and the A/C did work, although it smelled a bit musty and could probably use a cleaning. When we arrived, we did not see any front desk or reception. After five minutes of looking around I made contact with the owner via the Whatsapp chat listed on their website. He answered and came promptly and gave us our keys and two more towels for our family of 4. I actually quite liked the location of this hotel. It was still walking distance to everything in Tamarindo, but it was at least a block or two away from the super central, noisy action. There's a "Vindi" grocery store right next door to the hotel as well as a pharmacy.
