Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff members assisted us in locating businesses and events in downtown Tampa and offering suggestions on itinerary. It was great to see both garbage & recycle bins available. We received complimentary bottles of water on arrival which was great for the Tampa heat! Our room was clean & well-kept, there are some signs of wear, but it doesn't affect the function of the room. The pool area was beautiful with a nice view of the city. Breakfast was large & bountiful, many options to choose from. I don't prefer driving downtown (many accidents), but there are so many places to go & things to see & do within walking distance as well as the TECOline streetcar, which was an amazing asset to enhance our experience as it allows for easy travel to & from downtown restaurants, shops, the aquarium, etc. It was so convenient to walk a few blocks from the hotel & board the streetcar, it made travel a breeze.

Arrived in just after midnight due to a delayed connecting flight. I had called ahead, so front counter was all ready for me upon arrival. Very friendly staff (both front desk and security). One gentleman had to go back up to our room to assist getting in as our original key cards didn’t work, but they were able to fix that issue super quick. Comfortable beds, clean room. I wish we had gotten in earlier so we could make use of the pool - next time!

Room was fine. The problem at check if was they charge your card 100 even though you paid in full for your room. When I questioned this the lady told me you get your hundred back on check out. Then they run your card and then they tell you they take 35 dollars out for parking . To me this isn't very honest way of doing it. No where did it ever say they charge you 35 to park when reserving a room. Oh Well, had they told me up-front it wouldn't be so bad but telling you after they run your card doesn't seem right to me.
