Our fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn, Taunton
Our stay was fantastic. Our room was great, very clean and we had water, biscuits and tea and coffee. The whole hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and the food and drinks were very good. We definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We have stayed here before and will be staying here again this Friday, 27th December on our way back home from staying with our daughter.

Great service but room starting to look tired
Staff brilliant and jasmine on the bar was really nice she really did far and beyond with our drinks. The room was very tired with stains on the wall looked like drinking chocolate and carpets could do with a deep clean but room was ok for an overnight stay. The room could do with a refresh as silicone is missing from part of shower tray and only one plug to charge mobile by the bed so my partner couldn’t charge her phone so maybe suggest a maintenance visit in near future but like I say for a quick stay it was ok

Very enjoyable stay
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all excellent except one female behind the bar, who for some reason looked straight through me and washed some measures as I stood at the bar, then just walked away and started washing glasses. The breakfast was excellent and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The cleanliness and friendly staff were great. The dining options were limited and expensive. The bar was very expensive too. The swimming pool was brilliant and the set out in the reception area was lovely
