The outlook here is to die for, unobstructed views, as pictured of the Northern Wairoa River from the back decks and lawns of these substantial properties. The large deck on the big house with the dining setting that seats 10 and the 7 person hot tup look up the river to Dargaville and Mt Tutamoe in the distance.
One of these is our family home, we are happy to share it with you. This historic property is on one of the earliest subdivision in the country. The town of Te Kopuru is very historic, with shipping and kauri industries using the river as the main form of transportation. A short walk to the boat shed and you can see the signs of what once there was. The wonderful, often deserted west coast beach of Glinks Gully is part of the longest driveable beach in New Zealand and is only 10 minutes drive. Dargaville is handy, only 10 minutes away and KaiIwi Lakes is only an extra 15 minutes from there, so this is a perfect central point for your stay in our area. These two homes are on full sections, the large house with 4 bedrooms, including one cabin, sleeps 10, and has 2 bathrooms, the smaller home has 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 and 1 bathroom. Highest quality beds, linen and towels are supplied, freshly laundered for you and dried in the air to keep fresh. Both houses have their own backyard and front garden. We welcome children and pets. Fully fenced with the exception of the steep bank on the river side. Although quite steep it is an undesirable area for children or pets, if it was the landing would be soft and bouncy kaikuyu grass. There are no bedroom doors in the small house due to the small scale of the house. Please enjoy our homes.
