I highly recommend this property. The lady at check-in was very nice. They are little cottages set up as duplexes. Spacious, clean, and cute. The only negative for me was how small the shower was. If you're a bigger guy like me prepare to do some acrobats to clean the undercarriage lol. If you're looking to stop outside of Terrace Bay, this is the place!

Loved this place.
These cottages are extremely clean and comfortable. The front desk check in was pleasant. No phone in room, but most people have cellphones, there is a working phone booth in the parking lot if necessary. I was worried about road noise but it wasn't a problem. We will definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place to stop along our trip around Lake Superior. Easy to find, clean, spacious, and so reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the cabin had everything we needed.

Convenient, clean and well-equipped cottages located along highway 17 between Kenora and Sudbury. Had a lovely walk to the Jackfish Lake beach, recommended by the owners. Very comfortable beds, good internet access, and cable TV.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Our cottage was very clean and looked to be recently remodeled. Located right on the highway but didn’t have any trouble sleeping. Would stay here again.

It is easy to recommend Jackfish. It's a straight forward motel with duplex cottages (2 units per cottage) with a sitting elevated deck in front of each. The room included a full size refrigerator, an apartment sized electric range, electric drip coffee maker (filters and coffee provided), and microwave, along with 4 place settings of plates/cups/etc. Bathroom was updated, with a 30" shower - smallish, but usable No A/C, but with lows in the 40s, it did not matter. Beds were comfy. The owner_managers are onsite and are eager to please.

Very clean and comfortable stay!
We loved our stay! The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed during our visit. It is directly on the highway, so you'll constantly hear the noise of traffic, but we didn't feel it was an issue at all. All the hotels along the Lake Superior Loop are right off the highway anyway. We used the very clean outdoor gas grill to cook our dinner, which we ate while we sat on the deck and watched the traffic go by! Staff was very accommodating and nice (the chocolates were a nice touch - thank you!). There's a full size refrigerator and everything you'd need in the kitchen. The owners have put quite a bit of work into updating the cottages and it sure shows! We highly recommend Jackfish Lake Cottages.

This was a hidden gem. The cottages are older and small, but very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was amazing!! We loved this place and would highly recommend it.
