Our holiday weekend
Well, when I got there, I had spa treatment there before check-in, but was able to check in early, which was very nice. The spa was very nice. My Masseuse was great. I came in with a walker, but the staff helped me get the walker down and treated me with the upmost kindness. Also, after checking in the hotel, we upstairs got checked in room was cool. The view was beautiful. Had an ocean view. We did use service. They were very quick very accommodating. We also had Christmas brunch at The Galvez and it was wonderful more choices than you could ever imagine staff at the restaurant was very caring and giving, very professional and great food. The orchestra made beautiful music that went out through the restaurant very calming the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel were outstanding very picturesque

Everything was excellent until I tried to get a copy of my bill?? I need a receipt to finish my paperwork & after 7 days and multiple run around I still do not have a copy?? Yes I did ask for a receipt at check out & only got a receipt for valet parking. How hard is this??

That island, and the people who live there are definitely used to catering to White and not having very many blacks to live in that hotel because there was times it took a little bit of effort to get service or to get the attention of the staff when they see us coming they would just ignore us until we said something to them

Look, I really never leave reviews in general, but I feel like on their side they should specify their parking situation. The bartenders ought to be friendly. The carpet shouldn’t feel like it’s mildewy. I’m honestly appalled that I had to book a stay here, the only thing grand was the bill at the end of my stay. Jesus!
