Overall our stay was very nice. Great location, nice and clean room. The only downside was barely working air con and not working fridge. Bit still we enjoyed our trip to Switzerland.

Lovely hotel, staff, room, decor and dining room. Excellent location. Interior is beautiful. AC in our room did not cool the room. FYI for those expecting air conditioning. Able to open doors to outside, still didn’t provide cooling as desired. Would definitely stay there again. Would try to get to a store on first day and buy a fan. Hotel did not have fans.

Absolutely beautiful property surrounded by two rivers. Beautiful place and super clean and nice staff. Rooms can be a bit warm with no AC but that’s kind of expected in most places in Europe. Great place. Would recommend.

The Place smells like new and very clean the housekeeper did a good job our room were cleaned everyday. Expedia exterior picture weren't updated I kind of confused which is Hotel Aare Thun but it was a great overall.

Our standard room was very small. The washbasin at the side of the bed was awkward. The air con didn’t seem to work and it was very hot. The hotel itself and the staff were very good, the location is excellent, the breakfast was nice and the car park was underneath and was secure.

This location is everything, the town is beautiful and a lot of bars and restaurants within 2 min walking. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I will be definitely staying there in the future

Our room was 218, the BEST room in the hotel, overlooking the wooden bridge. Slept every night with doors open listening to the rush of the water. Staff were nice and helpful. Thun is a small town but very quaint and worth a short visit. No better hotel than Hotel Aare Thun.

What a nice surprise to stay is such a pristine and tastefully designed hotel!! Freshly remodeled and perfectly centrally located. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It didn’t matter so much that it rained the entire week we were there because the town and the hotel were very comfortable.

Great location by the covered bridge and river. Very easy to get to shops and restaurants! Beautiful city and recommend visiting the Castle Thun at the top of the hill!

We traveled from Aarau where there were all local residents. Thun was the next largest area. Still the local charm and some tourists. Lucern was an even more populated with a ton of tourists. We loved Thun it was the perfect mix of walking, shopping and boat excursions. Hotel Arte was centrally located for all that you would like to do. The Swiss Pass was the best for the clean convenient transportation.
