It is my third time staying at an APA hotel in Tokyo's Shinjuku neighborhood and they are an excellent value for the cost. The room is very small but comfortable, with all amenities and very clean. Staff is very courteous & professional.

Great central location albeit some undesirables…Affordable Tokyo Hotel. On site spa / onsen was very nice too… Still getting a hold on the Japanese bidet toilets mind…!!

Convenient location to use as home base while in Tokyo and to experience the Shinjuku night life. Area is not as family friendly as Shibuya or other areas.

Not for the bigger person/s. We paid more for a bigger room - our room measured 3mx5.5m in total (including the bathroom) - take this into consideration if you are larger person than the average Japanese or a skeleton!

Great staff, great breakfast! Location was convenient and only a few blocks walk away from most of the train stations as well as the major Shinjuku attractions. I’d definitely stay here again.

Only downside was it was a bit of a walk to a rail line but overall great location with restaurants all around and Shinjuku is just a great area to stay in.
