Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very expensive with limited amenities. Charged for a 1 hour late checkout. Property very dated but comfortable. Our least favorite hotel that we stayed during our 2 week trip in Japan
Cannot control temperature for each room. Re: Takkkyu-bin (delivery service for suitcases), there is no choice for date & time, a bit inconvenient. Other than that, 2min from Akasaka-Mitsuke station, where you can catch Marinouchi-line & Ginza Line, so you can go Ginza, & Tokyo station(Shinkansen) so easily if u don't have "suitcase". Staff are very friendly and try their best for customers;)
This hotel was out of date. The brown furry carpet did not seem clean. The shower leaked, the bath did not drain properly, the heating was stifling without the ability to turn on the air con, and the room was far too small for three guests with suitcases. Terrible choice.

I have 2 rooms reservations with this Centurion Hotel in Asakasa, which I made 3 person in one room and 2 person for the other room. When we get there to check in (came from a long flight and first time traveling to Japan with my 2 kids and my wife) the front desk person that I need to pay for the 3rd person for the other room. He said was “because we have to get a sofa and get ready for the 3 rd person” I was trying to explain that it’s was already included on the packages that I pay. I even showed him the the room for 3 person has 2 twin bend and sofa included. He kept saying no and trying to arguing with me.. my wife end up paying total 9000 yen (Japan) and told me that just call Expedia when we get back to LA since I have. The receipt for the extra pay. My concern was the front desk never even look at the reservation number before and see what would be the best option(s)
Oh.. since we’re checked in the room were my kids stayed in.. TV doesn’t have Netflix, YouTube or any of those compare form my room.. and YET WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA 9000 yen! Very BAD experienced with this hotel.

Rooms are exceptionally small.
Furthermore, the wallpaper in our bedroom was damaged and the bathroom had soap scum stains on the walls. I asked to check out early to move to another hotel and staff would not allow me to do so.
I ended up booking another hotel room down the street anyways.
Very nice and bright hotel.
Had Christmas celebrations.
Hotel had all info regarding early bag check in already mentioned in the website (they take early bag check ins).
Hotel has free cofee, tea and iced tea. Also fresh set of toiletries available in reception as per your use.
Robes and pajamas given during check in.
As typical in Tokyo, the rooms are very tiny. Barely room for much more than a bed. Difficult for the person sleeping by the wall to get up in the night! But it was clean, and had a washing machine, which were good.
The property looks NOTHING like the photos. My room did not either. The carpet is not even attached in the elevator. All the luggage is stored in the lobby with ties. The onsen smells as people come in and out on the elevator. The drain in our bathroom smelled so bad my son “prepared” himself before entering each time and he is not a pretentious person. We camp, hunt, and fish and are used to all types of arrangements. This was the most expensive hotel stay that we had the whole two week trip with the worst amenities and property conditions. The pillows were tiny and old on the bed. If you needed anything you came down to the lobby where there was a bar with tea, instant coffee, toothbrushes and what-not. Nothing is in your room beyond the basics. They hand you pjs and slippers in a grocery bag when you arrive. I can’t say enough about how truly disappointing this was and what a low note it left our trip on. Never been more happy to LEAVE a hotel in the literal best place on earth. The location is good in terms of subway access and food. There’s two other Centurions close by, one on the same street. I feel catfished with their photos. I would NOT recommend nor EVER stay again.
I liked the central location of the hotel and how close it was to the train station. There was plenty of dining options. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were exceptional.
