Basic accommodations in great location

Henn na Hotel was about as basic as they come. Room was small but not too small. Beds were firm but still comfortable. Towels were thin but clean and they did the trick. Amenities were available but no body lotion, which I didn't pack. Didn't expect the rooms to be serviced daily, but they were. Hotel was located very close to subway station and all the attractions in Asakusa. Restaurants and convenience stores all around. Wish there was at least ONE English speaking channel in the TV. And we didn't realize there wasn't a front desk where we could get help with directions, etc. We were definitely on our own.

Lovely hotel, staff is minimal which was fine. It's self check in and check out. Rooms are small but we weren't in the room much anyways. Location was amazing and I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. If I return to Tokyo I will stay here again.

Although small, it was in a very convenient location. If you need stuff you go downstairs to first floor and there’s Family mart. If you want more option, you can walk across the street to 7-11. If you need anything you can always call the staff and they immediately answer and help you

Room is spacious. We love the LG Stylus. It’s very very useful. Umbrellas available at the lobby is great. Please consider putting 1 in the bedroom - loan to guests. We enjoyed the buffet Breakfast: Japanese, Indian & Western food, small cafe with lots of surprise. Please consider providing shuttle service to 2 tourist sights eg. Senso ji Shrine. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so pleasant.

We stayed 2 nights and this room was impeccable. The bathroom was spotless, bed made to perfection, and we had no complaints about the room at all. We didn’t hear any noise either from the 8th floor, room closest to the elevators. Close to train line, about a 6 minute walk Washer and dryer combo machine works great but even for 6 small pieces of clothing we needed 2 hours for wash and initial dry, then 3 extra dries at 20 min each.. just an FYI for anyone thinking about using them. Not a terrible thing since we were at the hotel anyway, but plan accordingly. We really loved this hotel and would def stay again.

Of all the hotels we stayed at in Japan, this was our favourite. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Very conveniently located in the heart of Asakusa, you can step outside for a stroll to the various restaurants and bars but the hotel itself was quiet Easy walk to Kappabashi and even Ueno and Akihabara were under an hour’s walk away Highly recommended

Great value and very convenient

Typical size of room in Tokyo. The design is cute and tidy. The Japanesque room set up made it a bit more challenging for bags and with a family with young child, we needed some imagination to fit in the luggage and have some room to breath but manageable. We find the place very clean, and housekeeping was good and eco friendly. The self check in process was fun for the little ones, and there is staff reachable by a phone call. We found the location very convenient for our travel in Tokyo, with two small playground nearby and a Family Mart convenience store on the premise. Also close by to 2 public transit stations on different lines make it pretty easy to travel. Sound proofing was very good and we had great sleep there. Great value and would definitely recommend.
