Might be hard to find at first but as long as you follow Google Maps, it will be fine. Once you get to a little pedestrian tunnel (as another reviewer mentioned) you’re almost there. It is reasonable walking distance to the JR station where there is a shopping centre, with Don quijote and pharmacies nearby. In terms of food, you can find a bunch near the JR station, or there are a couple McDonald’s in between the hotel and the station. Also 2 7-11s nearby. If you don’t want to venture out, the hotel has vending machines with food in it (don’t know if it’s good though).

離池袋站大概10分鐘路程，車站過去的沿途也有很多商店食肆，距離池袋Sunshine City大概5分鐘路程，樓下就有便利商店和LUUP電動車租還車點。員工態度有善，遇到有任何問題也非常快應對。

It was abit hard to find the hotel initially. Didn't look like Google map photo...We didn't know there was another entrance for luggages and had to carry them down a flight of stairs to check in. Room is clean but it is tight space. If anyone is over 5'11, don't recommend you to stay here. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay for its value. It's right around the corner from a 7-11 and about 10mins walk to Ikebukuro station.

房間雖小，但是很舒適，大堂有DHC的護膚品全套，包括洗臉油，乳液，爽膚水，日霜，防曬，也有body lotion, leg lotion, peeling, comb, 棉棒，棉花.....也有茶和咖啡供應，如果不用執房，可以去大堂取樽裝免費水或茶。大堂職員服務非常好，只是女的比較不懂英文。房間有即棄拖鞋和皮拖鞋各一，有風筒和洗漱用品，也有一條晾衣服的繩。酒店會在10月份至12月中裝修，另一間（select)酒店會在10月開張，相距一個街口位置。大堂在B1,要走幾級樓梯，如果1樓餐廳開門，可以從一樓乘坐電梯。

Close to Ikebukuro Station which has many train lines to explore those 1 day trip area like Yakahoma. Lots of freebies. We get free bottle of water on days we request no room cleaning needed. Bathroom can be a little bigger and need softer pillows

We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Yes, the rooms are small but if you don't want small rooms, don't go to Tokyo. The beds are comfortable and the plumbing is great - strong water pressure in the shower and very hot water. The hotel is surprisingly quiet given how busy the surrounding area is. Yes, the entrance to the lobby requires going down stairs, but there is a side first floor entrance they can open for getting your heavy luggage in and out. One thing to note: if you book adjoining rooms for 4 people, it is two separate rooms next to each other. The advantage of this is 2 bathrooms and not 1. The potential disadvantage is depending on the age of your kids, you might have to put one parent and one kid in each room as they are not connected to each other. They are, however, next door. The breakfast is a mix of Japanese and Western items. We all found something to eat. Ikebukuro station is super convenient for multiple train lines and we really liked the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Good points: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the cleaning service was quick and very punctual. Our beds were made for us, bins emptied, fresh towels and cups were always given to us. There are many necessities that the Hotel gives for free at the reception, which were excellent quality and very useful. The shower was very powerful and pleasing to use. The Hotel is also located very near major shops in Ikebukuro. Bad points: The room was way too small for three people. The bathroom was also extremely small and can be awkward to move around, especially for a tall person. The bunk bed was old and very noisy and distracting. The WiFi was absolutely terrible and barely usable at best. On hot days, the room can be unbearable to stay in. Overall, it was a decent place to stay. If you want somewhere cheap and a place to just sleep and wash, then maybe this is a place for you.

They have "freebies" such as face toners, cleansers, leg gel, etc. located in the lobby. We stayed for 8 nights, so we got a free breakfast coupon; it was a surprisingly delicious onigiri buffet, although there were "western" options such as bread and cereal too. You can also choose to opt in for breakfast, which costs around $10-12. This is my second time staying in this hotel, and the staff have always been polite and pleasant. Location of the hotel is great too. I'll always recommend it!
