This is a great hotel for a couple. Rooms are well organized, with a small kitchen, washer/dryer in the room, room to store luggage, and enough extra room for a couch and dining table. In ours, the toilet was in its own small room (a little tight to be honest, but very clean and not really a problem), and the bath/shower/sink in a separate room. The staff was generally very helpful, and provided maps, directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. They also had local SIM cards and subway passes for sale in the lobby. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, and a short walk to Ueno Station, Tokyo National Museum, Ueno Zoo etc. Highly recommended!

KOKO Hotel was a pleasant experience that’s strategically located between Kappabashi street and the Sensoji Temple. The area is filled with shops and eateries that can leave you with more than plenty to do in just the area alone. Access to local buses and transportation are within walking distance that can open you up to the vast city of Tokyo. The Japanese style room in KOKO Hotel was definitely a treat with the tatami mats. Rooms, especially higher up provide a nice view of Asakusa and the Tokyo Skytree. The staff were polite and respectful and also thoroughly explained ground rules and expectations upon checking in. Plenty of amenities are also provided in the lobby to assist your stay. Would definitely stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was spacious and even included a washer/dryer. The front desk staff were very friendly and assisted us with couriering our luggage to our next hotel. The only downside is that it's not very close to a train station. Taking an Uber to the nearest station, Tawaramachi Station, cost around ¥800.

Love love love this place - can’t say it enough. Rooms are spacious (for Tokyo) comfy and u have washer/dryer in the room!!! It is such an awesome location too. A couple of minutes to walk to 7-11 or other convenience stores and so many food options in the area, fantastic shopping. The staff was absolutely awesome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Best location.

The property was spacious compare to the other hotels I have been in Tokyo. However, its quite a distance to walk from different train stations and even to the biggee convenient store. Everything else was great, have a table inside the room, can layout my two luggages and being able to walk without issue. Room were clean and design were nice. Have laundry inside the room itself and can wash clothes overnight and no need to sit and wait at the laundry room. Everything is keyless and secure code at the elevator so feels more safe and secure. Would definitely try their other facilities in other locations.

We loved our stay at Koko! The hotel was clean and comfy and the staff were amazing. We loved the location as it was situated in a quiet residential area but only 10 mins walk from everything you could possibly want to see/eat.

Good travel base
Overall, not a bad place to stay. Very short walk to the train station, which made it great for a base. Our rooms were small. But we only needed them for sleeping so they got the job done. The breakfast was well worth it. All you can eat with plenty of choices. The staff was friendly. There is a little Italian place around the corner on the backside of the building that has some pretty good pizza as well.

There’s laundry in the unit. The hotel was new and clean. Contemporary and high tech with good security. The only downside was that it was 15 min or so walk from the nearest train station. A bit far on a hot day.

A bit far to reach from nearest station, not recommended for those who can't walk much. Some rooms have a really nice view of the Skytree, ask when checking in. Although there's a new building coming up and it might block soon. The rooms are as per the pictures, didn't realise that mine has a table but no chairs! They rely on the bed and sofa bed as sitting for the table. Saw some other room types have 2 small chairs in addition to using the sofa bed.
