I stayed a total of 2 weeks here and I am pleased with the service. I traveled using public transportation and walking and it was located near 2 metro lines within 5-10 minutes walking and bus stations. Right outside the hotel is the tsukiji market and you are about 15 -20 minutes walking from the main shopping area in Ginza. The only downside to the hotel was the bed but I noticed that many of the other beds in Japan were also very firm. I was able to sleep well. The hotel is also very quiet only 1 neighboring room was loud one night. Having a washer/dryer in unit was why I chose this hotel so that I could pack less especially in the winter with heavier clothing. It worked great. All instructions were provided in English and the staff also spoke English. The room was also a decent size of 2 travelers with 3 suitcases and backpacks Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it if you are looking for an affordable place.

Front desk receptionist are always warm and helpful. Amenities provided are decent, the washer dryer unit in the room was particularly useful and a standout feature. Location is good as well, as you can walk to Ginza. However, the smoking lobby on Level 1 is terrible! The smell is trapped in the only hotel lobby there is, and I think it affects the central AC as I could smell it even on the level I was staying. It was unfortunate but I had to check out early as I couldn't get used to the smell.

The room is extremely small and the washroom has a sewage smell, which was unbearable after a few days. I also think providing cleaning service once every seven days is not enough, especially in such a tight space. Maintaining the cleanliness becomes difficult.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Tsukiji. The location is super convenient – just a 5-minute walk to Hibiya Line Tsukiji Station, and only 7 stops to Ueno (for Skyliner to Narita Airport) with no transfers. Higashi-Ginza is walkable, and Ginza is just two stops away. The room has a balcony facing Tsukiji Market, offering a nice glimpse of the market atmosphere. It’s very quiet, especially at night, and perfect for longer stays. The room has a washing machine with dryer (very quiet), induction stove, microwave, a larger fridge with freezer, and a Refa hair dryer – my hair was super smooth! I also loved being able to heat my milk and bread for breakfast each morning. Check-out is a breeze with the machine, taking about 30 seconds. The room was clean, though the hotel has a slightly dated feel, so those looking for modern décor might be disappointed. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are many nearby, especially sushi places. Minor drawbacks: I feel the room was just right for one person (I had an 18m² room) but might be tight for two. The elevator area on the first floor is near a smoking room, so sensitive guests might notice some smoke. Overall, I loved the location and amenities, and I’d stay here again on my next Tokyo trip.

The room was smaller than I expected, and it was a bit challenging to open suitcases comfortably. The AC and fridge were louder than I’d prefer, and the cleanliness could be improved. That said, the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, which I appreciated.
