carmen Teresa goes from better to better,thanks to Mercedes…..who runs a tight ship.Cool laid back atmosphere in very Spanish surroundings.Perfect location for La Carihuela Torremolinos Benalmadena and Fuenguirola (bus stop outside).Look forward to my next visit!

Lovely family run hotel. Reception very helpful regarding trips to Gibraltar, Al Hambra Palace ,Cordoba as well as local transport help . Bus stop to Malaga and Mijas just outside hotel steps. And beach approx 2-3 minutes walk . Also lovely pool and garden at hotel. We will definitely use this hotel again.

I had an excellent greeting from a male receptionist, and indeed nearly all of the staff including those doing bar, grounds and cleaning work are very polite and professional. I was given a top floor room (which I had asked for) and it was a good size with ample storage space, a lovely light en suite and balcony. The room was in the corner of an L shaped building however, so therefore on view for anyone on a neighbouring balcony if the curtains were not drawn. The television was excellent- many UK regular channels available. Throw in an in room safe and have optional extra blankets in the room and the stay would be perfect. The hotel is on a main road close to two train stations and within easy reach of both Torremolinos and Benalmadena. It also has some well tended grounds with enough space for sunloungers and a small swimming pool.

Great value for money staff great
After travelling through Europe decided to finish with some sunshine in torremilinos,the welcome I received from the receptionist Mercedes was first class , definitely the right person for the job ,very helpful and friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see me .Hotel good value for money and only two streets back from the beach , room was cleaned everyday,not always the case as stayed in a different hotel in torremilinos and moved because it was run down and not cleaned .If your looking for exceptionally helpful staff ,stay here ,big thank you to Mercedes.!

My amazing holiday at Hotel Carmen Teresa
I spent 17 nights at this hotel. It was home from home. Very helpful and friendly staff. Who I thank dearly for there relaxed friendly service. The most beautiful garden and quaint pool. Delightful Hotel.
Delightful small hotel old style Spain staff were so friendly especially Mercedes. I had an issue with building noise she stopped it. It’s basic but very pleasant for my 6 nights and price was amazing. I’ll definitely go back.

Lovely friendly hotel
Location is good, walkable from the train station and a bus directly outside to go to Malaga or Benalmadena or further down the coast. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to either along the promenade. Cleanliness is immaculate! Small pool in lovely gardens, very tranquil Staff fantastic. Considering the price point, this hotel is superb!
