I am surprised this hotel achieves a 3 star rating. The room facilities were disappointing, (no tea/coffee making bar; poor internet connection; staff service left a lot to be desired).
The room was basic and comfortable and cleaned each day but the hotel restaurant was closed on 3 out of the 5 evenings we stayed and that hadn't been brought to our attention prior to booking, or indeed, even on the evenings that it was closed. Despite it being closed the hotel staff were not able to suggest alternative dining experiences.
Apart from one member of staff, (the Receptionist on arrival), who was also present each evening and who did as much as he could to assist and provide a reasonable service, he was alone throughout the evening and, thus was hampered regarding how much assistance/service/support he could give. In fact, we felt sorry for him as he was obviously trying to be as helpful as he could be but had very little, (or indeed no) support from anyone else associated with the management of the hotel.
