Lacrosse
Bed was not comfortable, appeared to be pretty new but had minimal cushion. Breakfast was appreciated. Parking and location were excellent and nice walk to waterfront, botanical garden, and downtown.

The staff were very nice and friendly. We avoid carbs and sugars and had a hard time getting any eggs or sausage at the free breakfast. We went down to the lobby three times and it was packed each time, very little food and no place to sit. The staff replenishing was very nice and hard working but could not keep up with demand. Our bathroom soap dish was unclean.

I enjoyed that the room’s linens, towels, and bathroom were clean. However, the rest of the room was left to be desired, as the furniture and carpet had a lot of wear and dust. The bed also did not feel queen size and was very firm. Also, the staff experience felt mixed, with some good and negative interactions. The negative interactions felt unwarranted (like being met with shortness when requesting a bathroom plunger). Overall, it was alright. If the property was updated along with quality of staff, it would be a much better place to stay.

Nice hotel
Check in was quick and the person on the front desk was very friendly and informative. The room was very clean. The couch in the living area was too soft for us so it wasn't very comfortable. The beds were just right for me but too soft for my partner. The hotel was close to downtown and the river walk. I would stay there again.

Needs an update
Roomy suite which was nice. However, the bathroom needs an update. The shower and sink needs shelves to put toiletries and the grout in the tile floor was dirty. Also had a spider in the bathroom.
