Tahoe ski week
The house was great. Great location, well appointed with newer appliances. The kitchen had all the essentials plus paper products and spices. The only issue would be the longer, steep driveway. When frozen, our car slid down about 20 feet overnight and almost hit the second car. However, we put wedges underneath our back tires and that prevented it from sliding down again. Knowing how to overt that, I would definitely rent again. The owners were very responsive and extremely nice too.

We loved everything about this gorgeous home. It was our family's first vacation together : (daughters, son in laws and grandchildren). Our daughter has since asked if we could make this VRBO our annual "family vacation spot". Stunning views. Beautifully decorated. Organized like a charm. Every SINGLE thing you could ever imagine you might need.. Justin & Jessica have already thought about and you'll find it. The living area was comfortable. Lots of books and games tastefully provided. Our granddaughter fell in love with the décor dog in the living room. She talked to him, "fed" him and named him "Pickles". The bedroom on the first floor is great. The bed is super soft; like a giant marshmallow. Pillows, linens etc. all high quality, lovely and spotlessly clean. The master suite is boujee, we loved it! Including the convenience of having a Keurig right there. The carpets throughout are soft and clean. The kiddo's thoroughly enjoyed the books, toys etc. upstairs in the bunk room. We especially appreciated each having our own full bathroom on our bedrooms. Showers are stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Towels a plenty. The bathrooms are immaculate! The kitchen too and meticulously stocked. The deck is where we spent most of the time. The adults played ball toss which was provided by hosts. We all took turns in the hammock. The kiddo's loved being on the deck hanging out with us. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and early evening. The home location is tranquil. We hardly saw another person and there's certainly zero traffic. We went to the pool at Trout Creek.. marvelous amenities. Big pool, kiddie's pool and hot tubs. $17 per person. Ample table, chairs and umbrellas. We took our own beach towels, drinks and snacks. They allow you to take in a cooler which is convenient. We have stayed in multiple VRBO over the years in various states. This house was BY FAR the finest one we have stayed in because of the owner's attention to detail. It's their little thoughtful touches to their home that will make your stay lavish and pleasant from beginning to end. Thank you Justin and Jessica for your exceptional prompt communication. Also for being so kind and willing to let us check in early. Memories made together in this home will be treasured by our family for ever. Thank you Justin & Jessica. We will be back.. Truckee Donner cabin/home
Great location for access to Truckee/Tahoe-Donner. Easy to get to the ski and snow park area. There were a few glitches (broken closet door, lights that didn't go on and common area smaller than it appears on the website but rooms adult rooms were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Good place for sledding in the back.

Loved our time in your cabin!
We loved our time in your Truckee Cabin, and found everything we needed and more. The house was perfectly clean, well stocked, and super easy to check-in/check-out. My friend and I took our teenage daughters up to play in ALL that snow, and they loved hanging in the bunk room. We decided we would definitely be friends with you (owners) based on your decor, organization, and thoughtful recommendations (loved Village Pizza & 50/50 Brewing!) :) We will happily recommend your cabin to our friends & family- THANK YOU for a wonderful weekend!!

Wonderful Getaway
We stayed in this beautiful cabin for a couple days to go skiing. We all enjoyed our getaway and had lots of fun. There are some nice surprises for everyone (i.e. a coffeemaker in the master bedroom, an old fashioned Nintendo in the kids room, sleds, beautiful views and so much more). The cabin is close to family friendly ski resorts which was perfect for us. Overall we had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back.

VERY Clean very nice
My family and I had the pleasure of staying here Fourth of July weekend. It was very nice. There was some negatives though. We used the grill and it was SO dirty. The inside the outside and just everywhere on the grill was disgusting. Also the house temp was at 85 when we arrived. It would’ve been nice to have the fan turned on or windows open just to have some fresh air in as it was almost impossible to sleep! Other than that the house was LOVELY 10/10 recommend to everyone!

Very Well Stocked Home
This was a great property for our family getaway. There was plenty of room for our family of four, the Wifi speed supported movie watching while others were doing online classes or gaming. Plenty of entertainment options with TVs in every room, NES for throwback gaming, etc. We have been doing annual trips to Truckee for over a decade and this is easily has one of the best stocked kitchens. Thanks for letting us stay at the beautiful home.

Great Experience!
The house was so clean and well-appointed!!! Great location, personal touches in house to make you feel welcome, and having 3 bedrooms AND three bathrooms made it such a comfortable and convenient way to vacation with teens. Communication was prompt, and always helpful. Check in was literally the easiest I have ever had with VRBO. Will definitely be going back!

Cozy cabin with view
We spend a wonderful 7 days in the cabin. The layout of the house worked well for our two families (adults had their own room), and kids slept all together. Smart TV in each room and wifi were a hit with everyone and the games and puzzles too. The kitchen is well equipped, and the addition of the BBQ was great (not mentioned on the listing). Would definitely return and recommend.

Perfect house for families!
The property had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining us and our kids. We had kids ranging from 2 to 14 years old so it was really nice to have TVs in every room so everyone had somewhere to go to watch what they wanted. The house was really cute and comfortable. We’re exciting to rent it again in the future.

Property is well maintained. Would have loved a deck in the back. Newer appliances that are pretty used friendly. Space out there showers as hot water is limited. You do not get access to the garage. Was fun for the weekend.

Great summer cabin!
We spent four nights here and loved every minute! The cabin was very clean, well stocked and in a great location to so many things! The kids loved the kids room and the PlayStation/games. The beds were comfortable and we spent hours on the porch watching the sunset and then star gazing. We went horseback riding at the Tanner Donner Rec Center, which was incredible. Close hiking trails and both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe. Lots of great food options nearby. Beautiful view from the front porch and master bedroom. Would definitely come back- hopefully during winter!

Lovely escape.

Finding, renting and staying at the house was a wonderful experience The home was located in a convenient area close to hiking trails and activities that the whole family enjoyed. We loved this magical cabin
We loved loved loved loved this house. It has a perfect location. The snow outside was our own playground for skiing and sliding. The house was fully stocked. The toys and puzzles was an extra bonus. The only downside was light in the morning. Make sure to bring eye covers. But it was so bright and beautiful in the morning and the unbelievable view was breathtaking. I recommend it warmly.

Lovely house, in a great location near Tahoe Donner. Really well laid out, everything was very clean and up to date and the owners were communicative and responsive. There is a really great entryway to put skis and boards, as well as boot warmers. We came in April and I can imagine it would also be lovely in summer. Great views from the first floor. Highly recommend it!

Perfect snow weekend
Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The house is fully equipped with everything and anything you might need. We loved having a fire in the wood stove, the large dining table for everyone, the kids room with the bunk beds, and the sleds and snow toys! The mud room with the boot and glove driers was perfect for coming in after skiing and playing in the snow. We spent two days at Tahoe Donner ski resort and the house was conveniently located close by! The owners were easy to get ahold of and so accommodating. We would love to come back every year! Thank you so much!!!
