We have enjoyed our stay v. much. Fortunately, we were able to walk up the steep stairs to our room, but this could be difficult for others less able. A sash on one of the windows was broken, so I did mention it. The food and service was excellent in the lovely restaurant. Staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you for such a delightful stay. We had a 4 day break at the Inn, could not find a fault with anything, the cleanliness, the comfort of the room, the breakfast, evening meals, the waitresses were very friendly as well as the bar staff. Although the Inn was on a main road it was barely noticeable due to the double glazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location. Easy to find. Got plenty of car parking spaces. The room is very spacious. Great shower. Room is clean and well equipped. Good to have a bottle of water in the room. Kate at the reception is kind, friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful mountain view. However, the bed seems to be a bit too soft.

Very friendly staff. Great value for money. Traffic noisy due to location but this is not a criticism, but earplugs may be useful if you are not used to city living and rush hr noise in the morning. Property is old, creaky and charming with good facilities.

Such a beautiful place to stay it was actually our second visit we spent our honeymoon there 40 years ago in September and certainly wasn’t disappointed. All the staff were great and very welcoming and friendly would definitely recommend
