On my visit to Norway I looked for a property close to where I was working. As a keen golfer I noticed the property advertised an on site golf course and driving range. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. I paid extra to fly my clubs over. To my surprise on arrival there was not a golf course in site or driving range. When I enquired about the facility’s I was told the nearest course was over 20 minutes away. This was really disappointing. The property didn’t have an electric charge point either. This has really put me off using hotels.com again now as I don’t know what to expect from the advertised rooms. The room didn’t look anything like the advertised room and it definitely wasn’t a queen bed. The room temperature couldn’t be adjusted and the room was very basic and not what I was expecting for the price I paid.

Reception staff continually lying to me regarding all the problems that I had. Room description was nothing like the room I paid for. The rooms were dirty. The towels were not changed. The bins were not emptied. Room keycards kept on failing. Breakfast food was warm to cold. The bedding was not changed regularly. No water. No tea. Plastic cups.

Styr unna, langt unna!
Vi bestilte Superior dobbeltrom og forventer da litt ekstra i forhold til hva vi fikk. Et gammelt og slitent rom, med et bad på størrelse med badet i ei gammel campingvogn. Det eneste som var stort på badet var dorullholderen som var dobbel og montert så tom fruen på 163cm ikke fikk plass og måtte sitte på skrå. Jeg på 193cm satt på tvers og måtte ha døren åpen for å få plass til knærne... Badet var max 2m2 og der var det stuet inn dusj, wc og servant. På nettet sto der at alle boenheter var pusser opp i mai 2024. Det viste seg at kun 1.etg var pusset opp. Falske opplysninger som gjorde at vi valgte det hotellet. Ikke engang frokosten holdt en viss kvalitet. Eneste muligheten til å få bacon var hvis du valgte speilegg, for der hadde de nemlig lagt på en hel skive bacon.. De som har eggeallergi får dermed ikke muligheten til å spise bacon hos Frichs. Jeg spurte, men det var ikke mulig å få bacon uten speilegg. Første og siste gang vi besøkte Frichs hotell i Hamar. Vi liker nemlig ikke å bli lurt.

Enkel inn- og utsjekk på en Pad i resepsjonen. Programmerte selv nøkkelkort. Var ikke i kontakt med noen ansatte bortsett fra på frokost. Rommene er ikke up to date, lampene på veggen var løse å veldig skjeve. Sov godt og spiste god frokost. Planen var å bo mer sentralt, men dette var eneste ledig hotell på tidspunktet ved bestilling.

Pent pusset opp, super god seng! Litt bedre plass i dusjen hadde vært fint, for den var trang!! Og elendig trykk i sparedusjen.. men gode såper fra Rituals!
