Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
I booked two rooms. First room was a disgrace: broken lights, water pooling on the floor beside the bed and aircon not working. Second room was ok but was an upgrade after complaining.
Poor location with limited transport and restaurants nearby.
Over all I give the Dewarna 1 Star only:
- limited English and communication
- limited and basic menu
- breakfast consisted of chicken, rice and noodles that were served cold. Staff take dishes away while you are still eating
- ran out of bread on two occasions for breakfast
- pool surrounds untidy with long grass. Dirty dishes on pool tables for long periods of time not collected and cigarette butts thrown on the ground under the tables not picked up
- no pool hours, kids in pool at 6am causing noise and interrupting other guests who are trying to sleep
- no microwave in room
- no cutlery to make tea coffee or eat in the room. - Limited cutlery served with room service meals, no knife just fork and spoon
- small fridge that did not keep things icy cold
- limited storage space for clothes
- TV reception poor
- Toilet is virtually in the shower. Toilet gets soaking wet after shower
- Limited tea and coffee supplied in room
Worse stay in a hotel ever. We have stayed in lesser hotels but have enjoyed the stay more than this experience. Stray away from the Dewarna, there are better hotels nearby for a similar price.
Very disappointed in Hotels.com for referring this place as a 3 star Hotel. This is false adv
