The kids had a blast splashing in the pool and taking turns dominating the game room and ping pong table. After all that fun, we got a great night’s sleep and started the morning off right at the oatmeal bar — straight yummy, no notes! What really made the stay extra special was the warm and welcoming staff. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great time. And let’s not forget the local art throughout the hotel — vibrant, creative pieces that gave the space a true sense of place and made every hallway feel like a gallery walk. Loved every minute of it!

This has been my go-to in Tucson since we discovered this gem. However, it’s gone downhill recently. As others have stated, the floors are FILTHY! I would say they can wash the black footprints out of the tub, but they skipped my room on requested service. There is no laundry (removed,) and the ice machine was broken the whole time I was there (100°+ days in Tucson in June.) At times there was only one person working the desk, bar, and kitchen. I arrived to breakfast and there was no oatmeal available and the staff just looked at me waiting. It is still very convenient and retro-cool. It was nice that they didn’t have any loud DJ parties this time while I was there. The public spaces indoors and out are very nice. I will give this property one more try.

My Favorite Hotel

I travel tens of thousands of miles a year, and this is consistently my favorite place to stay. The rooms are fun, the beds are great, the bar is great. There was an Irish band playing in the dining room the other night. The pool looks cool. Seriously, I now plan trips around making it to Tucson for a night!

Ditch the big chain hotel and stay at the McCoy

My wife and I were traveling back from Houston. We planned our first stop to be in Tucson so that the next drive to San Diego would be shorter. My wife used my hotels.com app and searched the area. The rate of $85 caught her eye. She then looked at the photos advertised for the McCoy Hotel and thought it was very cute (she said it). We agreed to book it and it was the best decision we made. The McCoy staff is pretty awesome. They are super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The complimentary drinks upon booking was impressive and when we looked in the room, we were completely satisfied. We will return and will bring our friends with us to check this place out! I highly recommend you skip the traditional stay at the Holiday Inn and stay at the McCoy !!

Somewhere photographers in this lots of things to shoot at the hotel. It's really fun with all of the murals and it has a display only defending machine with Cactus and odd items in it.. classic car out front. It's actually a motel even though it's called Hotel

Very cool and unique place. So much to see and do. They had a cool oatmeal bar for breakfast. The word I would use to descibe this place is cool. Everything was cool, except the Arizona heat.
